"I wish I would have seen the previous review before I made my purchase. My last Canon DSLR was purchased from the cheapest site on the web. After getting a call to confirm my order, the slick salesman sold me an overpriced package that eliminated the deal. I returned to the web to upgrade my Rebel to a Canon 60D. Ajrichies had the cheapest price by far. So after reading many good reviews I gave it a try. The website and order process was easy so I remained positive. Then the callback to confirm came. I was good and declined all the cheap batteries and memory cards. The salesman tried to sell the extras ("it comes with a battery that only lasts 1/2 hour") but didn't push too hard. Finally, he said that I was all set and I would receive tracking information in an email. A few hours later I received an email saying it would probably come from their warehouse in 14 days and it would be shipped in 14-21 days. If I couldn't wait just respond with the word CANCEL in the email subject line. Once again, it was too good to be true. I didn't buy their cheap extras and thereby removed any profit from the sale so they just sat on the order hoping that I would go away. Well, I did go away because I was hoping to have the camera for an international trip. Yes, they are scammers. I don't know how they built up such a collection of good reviews. A review pop up was generated when I placed the order. My immediate review was positive only because that was based on placing the order. However, after looking at the review site I realized they were all confirmed buyers. Those who get purged for not buying cheap stuff aren't included. These review sites with their overly-positive reviews enable these shady practices. Too good to be true? Stay away. Maybe you'll get lucky and get the advertised price but they are scamming others so I wouldn't support their business."
"I shopped around for about 6 hours looking for this specific item, the Canon VIXIA HF G10 32GB flash drive camcorder. I found the best price on AJRichies' website and ordered the camcorder online, with instructions for overnight shipping. I called AJRichies Customer Service the next morning to confirm my order and to request the shipment be expedited overnight, so that I could have the camcorder with me on a trip for the weekend. I spoke to a gentleman named Morris who was exceptionally helpful and who also offered me a great deal on additional accessories for the camcorder (extended life-batteries, AC fast charger, UV lens, cleaning kit, screen protectors, etc). In the course of the discussion with Morris, my phone kept dropping the call so I had to keep calling back; this must have happened 5 or 6 times. Morris was very patient and stayed cool throughout the series of dropped calls. He took the extra care to explain that not all batteries have the same quality specs in manufacturing and assured me that the extra batteries I was purchasing were licensed and approved OEM batteries from Canon, and not cheap knockoffs that could potentially damage the camcorder. "I easily found what I was looking for online and the checkout process was straightforward. It took some time for them to call to confirm my order, a delay I hadn't anticipated. Also, the site advertised free shipping and I was charged for it. When I contacted the sales representative to fix this error, they said it would be taken care of. I waited over a week with no refund, and then emailed them again. Hopefully this time I will get a refund. As for pricing, I got a great deal on the camera, but I feel the memory card I was sold during the order confirmation call was unusually highly priced. But, after reading other reviews, I am glad I ordered it lest I get a notification that my order was delayed for an unreasonable amount of time.

I've been looking around for a Canon T3i. A coworker that had bought the same camera in December told me they bought it at Ajrichies. They have great prices, so I pulled the trigger. I called the morning after to expedite the shipping. The salesman was nice, tried to offer me a battery half off , but I told him I didn't have money and he left it at that. I also mentioned I was worried the camera wouldn't arrive soon. Then they gave me free 3 day shipping to make sure I was satisfied. I should get camera soon. Totally exited to receive it. I'll keep everybody posted on the arrival and condition of the cam. They have assured me it's NEW and not refurbished and comes with 1 year manufacturer warranty.

"The price of the product I purchased was very competitive, but I was not pleased with the time it took to recieve. My order was placed 11/30/11 and it didn't ship until 1/10/12. Every time I called, they said to just be patient and should arrive at their warehouse soon. The product was back ordered, but should have never taken 5 weeks to ship. Their deals are to good to be true! I was lucky and smart enough to cancel my order after their e-mail about 21 days of back order. And I know why! Yes! I refused to buy their cheap stuff including shady warranty and "error free " high speed card. Morris, buddy, if you read this, please remember: there is no such a thing as "error free" card. They could be classified by class, speed etc. It's only cards that you make in your own basement, they might be rated as "error or smoke or pet free". Especially people make me smile that say: knowledgeable customer service helped me to complete my order with necessary accessories. Jeees... Are you serious??? First of all, I'm not their customer: I've cancelled my order. Second, they never tried to resolve problem, sending e-mail that my camera on the back order for a month; never did when I was cancelling order after 7 days. But soon as I hit the button "share review" ... what a miracle! Within the same minute Adam is phoning me and wanting to satisfy me with: ... CAMERA!!! Discount? Sure! Free accessories? Sure! Only thing? Revise my review? - Have a nice day, Adam! Ajrichies deserved this review and rating. This is strategy of your company! Don't lie to your customers! Don't fool them over the phone! Don't create an issues to begin with and they will get back to you for accessories, they recommend you to their friends. If you have another way to do business - all right! Do it! But don't phone me after with your free lenses and saying "sorry"! Cause you're not!

"I purchased a camera from Ajrichies.com the last week of December. 4-5 days later, I received an email asking me to confirm my billing address. When I called, the first representative said, "Thank you for calling," (in a very unenthusiastic voice)and then waited for me to answer. I believe the proper greeting should have been "Thank you for calling AJ Richies. This is _____. How may I assist you?" or something like that. This person was very short with me, almost as if it was an inconvenience to answer the phone. He quickly mumbled something and I was suddenly put on hold. A different representative came onto the line and had good manners but was slightly edgy/impatient with the additional questions I had about the camera I was ordering. I also feel like getting the camera has been a little slow (should be here tomorrow)but the holidays contributed to this. Bottom-line: Treat your customers like you like them and are super glad to be talking to them on the phone!
UPDATE: On 1/12/12, I received an email and later spoke on the phone with a very nice representative who kindly apologized for the experience I had. I have never had this happen before and appreciated it very much. Because of this and the fact that AJ Richies prices were the lowest I found and delivery was actually timely, I am increasing their ratings to 4 stars. Would recommend this store."
