"The order was ok... However, when your rep called he indicated that the memory I had selected would not work. So it was changed. Needed a travel charger for the car, etc.. The camera came with a charger. Don't know if the charger was necessary, and it was the wrong one. I"d recommend checking components online before adding these items, but the issue was resolved by sending the correct charger and extending the warranty. Still not a bad deal..."

Update as of 1/18/12. Never again. Camera received with no manuals, warranty card, etc. If it is the cheapest price, there is a good reason like it is not a camera manufactered for the US market. I subsequently found out the warranty is only warrantied through ajrichard which is the first sign it is not a US camera according to Nikon. "

"I placed an order on line which was very easy. I had to call because I received an email requesting me to clarify my credit card information. They would not permit me to purchase the item because I had two addresses. I understand that it was a security issue that some companies are careful with if the order amount is high. I could have used a different credit card which matches my second mailing address but decided not to because of the shipping time on this particular order. After all of this, the customer service department wanted to ensure my satisfaction and were willing to work me so I am happy to know that they are a concerned company. "
"Ordered a Camera with 2 to 3 days expedited shipping and got confirmation, after 4 days got email to call customer support for billing verification. When I called customer support to verify billing, I was told product not available. The ajrichies customer support showed some courtesy and called me back when the product became available and shipping it to me. It was nice to receive their followup for customer satisfaction."
"I selected this vendor to purchase a Sony HDR-PJ10 camcorder from as they had the best price that I could find online. I placed the order and then received an email 4 days later that I needed to call in to verify the billing information. This right away made me suspicious. This is an online retailer so why do I need to call when I gave them all information needed at the time of the online order. I emailed them back and said I'd prefer to handle communication via email. I never received any further communication from this vendor. From other reviewers on this site it appears that they want you to call in so they can sell you accessories that are very overpriced to make-up the lower cost of your initial ordered item. Be very cautious about this as I feel a reputable vendor would not do this.
ADDENDUM TO THIS REVIEW:
The initial review was posted on 12-3-2012. A couple of hours after I posted this review I received a call from Adam and he stated that he would send out the camcorder and expedite the shipping if I'd update my review. He was very cordial and wanted to make things right with me. I will await getting the camcorder as he said he'd send once I updated my review which I have done. I am impressed by Adam calling me to make things right."
"I just ordered a Canon EOS 7D and lens on Christmas afternoon for my Son who was visiting from Film School and had fantastic sales and service from AJ's staff. I had to call a couple time to make a few adjustments to my order to ensure the order would arrive before my son's departure and the staff was great. The package arrived exactly when I said I would need it and everything was as advertised! I would definitely buy all of my future equipment from AJ's, the prices are lower then the competition and the staff is great. Do yourself a favor and order today. You won't be disappointed.

"I agree with Nittry's comments on this store. The initial prices look great but I believe they will only actually deliver an item if you buy some additional overpriced items to buffer their profit margin. I suspect all the positive ads come form the merchant iself or form customers who don't realize they just got taken. I called the merchant to ask if the camera I wanted was in stock and he said yes I said I wanted to place the order over the phone and he asked what lens I wanted. I said I wantdto pruchase the body only as was listed on the web site. He hung up on me I then plaed the order online. The order showed on the web site as processing. About 2 days later I got a message to call the company. When I called the rep first confirmed the shipping address (as if he needed to) and tried to sell me a variety of lenses and other equipment that was overpriced and/or of mediocre quality. I stuck to my guns and received a confirmation email of the order. The confimration email included the following text: er confirmation does not constitute a final offer or contract. All orders are subject to management review and approval. If there is a pricing, stock error or the order is found to be invalid for any reason, the order is subject to cancellation by management. I later received an emial tha the camera was on backorder and would be delayed for two weeks. A few days later I called and the arrival dae appeared to have been extended furher. I anceled my order and purchased the camera elsewhere. I would say don't waste your time with this company."
"We went with Ajrichies because they had the best price on the camera package we wanted. The online ordering process was fast and easy. After a few days, we tried to track the package but had not received any email and weren't given tracking info online. That day we received an email saying we needed to call for the order to be processed. I called and was directed to a friendly but pushy salesman who wouldn't take no for an answer on all of the extra items he wanted to sell me. I can only guess that the extra sales opportunity is the reason I had to call to confirm. That delayed the ship date and it will be close to two weeks by the time the camera comes in, but a couple of days after the phone call I did receive an email with tracking information."

"DO NOT order from Ajrichies.com! I originally placed an order with them after calling to make sure they had the item in the warehouse only to be told, yes, they had the desired items and they would ship that day. After, Michael, the customer service representative failed to up-sell me and get me to buy additional memory cards and batteries, suddenly the invoice price they emailed me was $20.00 higher per camera than the on-line advertised price. Plus, the items were not shipped that day, but rather it took 3 weeks, several phone calls and waiting on hold for 30-plus minutes to get them to ship. I have an email from them stating the cameras would soon be in the warehouse and they would send them out at the advertised price (but my credit card was still billed at the higher price.)To top it all off, when I called their customer service deptartment to discuss the invoice pricing not matching their "adverstised on-line prices", they were very rude. There was NO customer service going on at all. I will never order from this site again and my advice to anyone tempted by their alluring, low on-line prices is...beware the 'bait and switch' and the rude sales and customer service representatives. This operation reeks of scammers!"
