"We bought the Mini Split unit to heat and cool our cabin in Adirondack Mountains. We now can come to the cabin in April and leave in October. This is PERFECT for our cabin and much better starting the fireplace and chopping wood. We got the Wi-Fi option and when we leave home for the cabin we just set it and it’s comfortable when we arrive.
Both heating and cooling is quick. No struggle at all for the 1.5 ton 18K btu unit to handle the 600 sq. ft. cabin.
I had several local HVAC companies quote a complete name brand system but quote was $3500 to $4500 installed. I found Alpine on the web and called the customer service and he was very helpful in the ordering of the Blueridge unit.
I finally got a local guy to install it and paid him $500 and that was the absolute best. Yeah, I could have done it with a "buddy" but I wanted a pro to install it.
When the unit is running, it barely makes a sound both inside and out. I couldn't be more pleased with the results. I’m also very appreciative of our Alpine sales rep Peter for answering all our questions and making it easy to make the decision to purchase.
We had a broken front cover of the inside unit and I called customer service and they shipped a new front cover at no charge and was received within days. I’m a happy customer and would purchase again. "
