"Hi,
My most recent Goodman AC system purchased a few weeks ago did not get shipped with the correct sized Orafice / Piston for the Condensor. I called customer service on Wednesday 4-27-16 explaining installation was planned for Friday 4-29-16 and needed the correct Orafice overnighted. I was assured the Orafice would arrive by Friday. I also had arranged for the necessary equipment & resources to be available to complete the installation in a timely manner.
After the part did not arrive on Friday afternoon I called customer service again and learned the Orafice did not even arrive at Alpine's facility yet and was not going to ship for another week.
I then had to scramble at 4:30 pm on a Friday afternoon to locate an Orafice locally, which I was unsuccessful. The following morning while I was supposed to be focusing on the installation, I instead had to drive all around town to numerous HVAC suppliers. The last place I visited happened to have the correct Goodman Orafice in stock. They also confirmed the Orafice size called out by Alpine was incorrect.
I could have avoided a lot of headaches by not being misled on the delivery time of the Orafice, which come to find out is not the correct size anyways.

I understand the part was shipped at no cost and overnighted to you once we received it at our warehouse. I have reached out to the manufacturer regarding the fact that it was an incorrectly sized orifice match. We ordered this particular orifice for you based upon Goodman's recommendation - thank you for bringing the possible error to our attention so that we can address for future reference.

"Unit arrived in perfect condition. New camp isn't built yet, so not yet installed. It heats 600-900 s.f. So plenty of btu's. Camp is 532 s.f. Should be installed within 4-6 weeks. Can't wait for fall to arrive to try it out. I purchased the blower and programmable thermostat. I think it's an awesome combo, and much less labor than a wood stove. Thanks again."

"The unit reached the terminal in my area within 2 days. USHolland did a poor job of arranging delivery. They called one time, but didn't leave a message. The Unit was at the terminal for nearly a week. I had to call Alpine to track it down.
Alpine did a great job. They made sure I ordered what was needed for my application. I paid extra for a lift gate truck, but it wasn't needed. The Unit is working fine."
