"My aux heaters burnt up. I've purchased all my equipment from Alpine for 10 yrs and my last experience has been painful. HKR-20 is obsolete so I was sold the HKA-20 as a replacement. Big difference between the two so I see why the HKR isn't sold anymore. They both fit the same hole in the plenum but the high voltage wiring isn't long enough to reach the breakers and I had to spend an additional $50 on a distribution block that should have come with the unit. This unit should be a warranty replacement because the HKR was only 3 years old but I'm still waiting for a reply."

"Bought complete system. Hired an independent HVAC contractor for install. Saved over $2000. The contractor could not buy the system from the local Goodman distributer as cheap as I bought it through Alpine. Several local dealers wanted over $5000. My total will be $3000 installed.
