"Ordered this heater based on reviews, haven't installed it yet but it arrived on time and in perfect shape. I ordered the LP conversion and the Thermostat.
It does come with a thermostat but it is the bare basic mechanical one (not digital and no programming)
"

Thank you for your order. I apologize that it was not clear that the Goodman furnace requires a conversion kit to go from natural gas to liquid propane. I will work with our product team to better indicate this on these products - right now the conversion kit shows up as a recommended accessory. "metal skin was banged in when opening the carton, I can hammer this back out !
Called your expert for some technical help....what a disaster...did not get a single answer to 3 basic simple questions ....
he gave me phone numbers from the different manufacturers...surely they're going to be very accommodating....I called, none were willing to speak with me "ONLY LISCENCED CONTRACTORS:
I;m not a professional and did not intent to spent another 5 to 800 dollars on a professional installer...this was supposed to be ;TURN KEY ...please take it back !
Honest people would warn you about the ridiculous expenses of 'so called professional installers ' (80dollars/hour while yakking on cellphone) and more important so called technical company advisors that "DON'T KNOW SQAUD"

The contractor-grade equipment that we sell on our site must be installed per the terms of the manufacturer. Most equipment we sell, at a minimum, requires a licensed contractor to inspect and start-up equipment to ensure proper installation and warranty coverage.
