I ordered a watch from amazon.com and the price was phenomenal (52% off from the retail cost), and only paid $9 for international shipping. The estimated delivery date was between December 28, 2009 - January 8, 2010, but the item was in my hands on Sunday, Dec. 19th! I got my item in 5 days, which is great considering I was expecting it to take weeks. Very happy with the whole experience, and will shop from them again. Thank you."
"I ordered an item that was stocked and sold by Amazon for a pre-Christmas delivery. The item did not come in time for Christmas, despite Amazon's estimate that it would. I am disappointed and will be weary of Amazon's promises the next time. True, it is probably the fault of USPS, but Amazon should say that delivery times with USPS cannot be depended on, when they cleary cannot. "

"Amazon's website listed an item I intended to buy as a Christmas present for my son. Amazon listed the item as available and in-stock. The price was acceptable so I made the purchase and got the confirmation email within minutes. The next day I received another email stating that my order was canceled because the item was not available. The email advised me to search Amazon's website for the item again and re-order! What for, so they can lie to me again and say it's available when it isn't? I went to another website and found the same item for $25 LESS! I didn't think it was physically possible, but Amazon both SUCKS and BLOWS! If Amazon thinks I'll shop there again, they'd better check the temperature in hell first!
P.S. I just read some other posts here about Amazon refusing to update in-stock/available data on their website when the supplier clearly tells Amazon that an item is no longer available and the end result is customers having their orders canceled. I urge all online shoppers not to tolerate further incompetence from Amazon. Save yourself a headache. Amazon clearly has no respect for it's customers. Place your orders & sell your products elsewhere."

So far it's always been a really smooth ride. They've always payed for any shipping on returns, and I've only received one defective item which they refunded immediately.
Customer service usually has a long wait time, but it's not nearly as bad some other companies I've had to deal with. Overall the customer service is fairly decent since I'm able to resolve all issues in one call.
Overall I've gotta give Amazon 5 stars because it's such a convenient place to get your shopping done."
