"Today, I just placed an order for Sennheiser PC 350 Gaming Headset, $143.15 Sold by: Amazon.com, LLC. The item showed in stock. After placing the order, the order summary says the item won't ship until 4/13/09, and estimated delivery date of 4/20 - 4/24.

It said my item was in "Shipment #1: Shipping Soon " status. So I called up to inquire why it is going to take about a whole week for them to even ship it out from their warehouse. The first person I spoke to just repeated everything that was already available on the order summary. Over and over repeating the same thing. So I asked to speak to a supervisor. The supervisor basically did the same thing, repeating what I already knew over and over again.

Why can't you cancel my order if your not gonna ship it out until 6 days from now?"

"After several hundred orders over the last 10 years, I've never had a problem with Amazon. I was even able to return a $900 DVR (when they cost that much) with no questions asked. Their return policy isn't so liberal anymore, but it's still easy. I returned most of my last order without any problems."

"I purchase from Amazon regularly. Because I buy from them so often, I have had to return items several times. Amazon has always been exceptional to work with. They are one of my favorite online stores.
Shipping is nearly always within days, and I almost always use the free shipping. If there is every any problem with my item, Amazon gets me a return shipping label and they pay for the return, or credit me right away if an item is ever lost in the mail.
Most things I buy from Amazon is less, or at least the same, as I can get it any other place, and they ship it right to my door."

"Amazon is the most reliable retailer for me. Especially in CA with no tax and Prime membership, I always check to see if Amazon carries the item I need in stock. They are usually the cheapest after tax. If the difference was marginal, I would still order from them due to reliability and customer service.

For this order, I got the new Apple Airport Extreme Dual Band and as usual got it within 2 days. I've place over 100 orders with Amazon and never had a problem that was theirs. Thanks again Amazon. "
