"I have ordered numerous orders from Amazon.com and my experience has been extremely GREAT. Finally, I want to post my experience that I recently ordered from Amazon.com. I ordered a Panny (lol) camera and it arrived less than 24 hours (choose the 2-3 shipping; free in my case because of my status into Amazon's PRIME). The camera came way ahead of schedule and it arrived perfectly onto my door step.
In the past choosing the free shipping is great...saves money, but the shipping time is long, Amazon Prime really helps when you need something in a hurry especially in this case. The one thing that needs to be improved...from what I have seen is the packaging. Amazon needs a little bit more padding to protect the contents especially this camera. All is good and I look forward into the endless purchases from Amazon.com. Next item Panny 50" 800 plasma...WOOT! "

Every shipment I got always dilivered less than 3 days, sometimes even was the next time. For free shipping, it is more than I could expect. Every thing I got was well packed and in good condition. "I *love* Amazon. Low prices, fast service, free shipping -- what's to dislike? Even returns are hassle-free. Last year, I purchased nearly $10,000 worth of stuff from Amazon. This year, I finally decided to join Amazon Prime for free two-day shipping on everything. I should have done it last year! I've never had a problem of any kind.
If I had to look for something to complain about, there would only be two things. First, I don't necessarily trust their associates. I usually will only buy from Amazon itself (or an associated company that I already know and trust). Second, at least on electronics, their prices fluctuate. The prices are always good, but if you follow it for a few days, you'll see that the prices rise and fall for no particular reason. It's kind of annoying. However, knowing that has allowed me to save even more (when I'm willing to wait).
Other than that, I have no complaints after literally hundreds of orders. I can't even relate to any of the negative comments I've seen.

I recently made an order on July 12 2008 for two books, **BOTH** listed in stock. Amazon's shipping estimate? Even I was surprised - August 11, 2008 - August 23. You've got to be kidding!! "This was a third party order for laptop memory that was "in stock". During the on-line ordering process Amazon shifted suppliers for a few cents savings. Unfortunately the "in-stock" hardware was never delivered. I wish I could recall the specific supplier to pass along that information."
