"Sorry wrongpage for the review. I'm supposed to review Onesuite not Amazon."
"Amazon does not honor their pricing. I purchased a mouse along with 2 other items. They decided not to honor the price on the mouse, which was part of their Black Friday advertising, to add insult they held back my shipment for over a week before notifying me. Shabby."
"Amazon.com screwed customers'reputation over cancelling many Logitech MX revolution laser mouse orders. I hate and not trust Amazon.com, and will NEVER do business with this sucker any more. Amazon, go to hell, your bad reputation deserve it. I will also submit a complain to the Better Business Bureau office in every single states in the US to report Amazon misleading and lying to their customers. "
"They cancelled my MX Revolution and QuickCam Communicate Deluze just like thousands of others. Would have been nice to know much earlier than the 7 days it took them to finally tell me."
"Cannot believe they cancelled my order MX Revolution after a week. It made me miss all other deals... What a disappoinment."
"I have ordered many items at Amazon, but their recent BF performance was a disappointment. They cancelled both of my camera and mouse, after more than a week."
"On black friday i ordered the logitech mx revolution mouse and logitech quickcam ultra edition. They were priced at your regular black friday prices so i figured it was a normal sale. after After a few days my other orders were shipped but these two items still had not been updated. I emailed on the estimated ship out date asking where it was and was told it was a temporary back up and my items shipping method was upgraded and it would be sent out accordingly. The next ship date rolled around and still i received no new update so i emailed once again. I got one email saying that an item was shipped then about 3 hours later another email saying that it was a "price mistake" and that the items were to be canceled. After one week of waiting i got canceled yet other received their items as promised? Horrible business practice in my opinion to promise a person an item then cancel it on bogus pretenses.
it took awhile and more than 5 emails to get them to honor the price. they also gave me a 80 dollar amazon credit in the place of the rebates. i would have rather of received an 80 dollar refund but at least they made an attempt to resolve the issue.
revision number 2: well since amazon isn't responding to my emails currently i have to change my review back to bad. they gave me the 80 dollar refund but are now trying to not give me the PROMISED promo price that they said they would. so i am no longer content. If/when this is resolved i change this whole rating but until then BOO amazon."
"Purchased 2 items on sale at amazon.com during Thanksgiving time. Waited for it to arrive, after 7 days got an email that the order was going to ship a little later than usual and i should be expecting it in the next 10 days. After 8 days i get another email informing me that the order was cancelled because of incorrect price. Thats ridiculous! For a gift item that i purchased for someone, why should it take 8 days for them to find out that the price was wrong? Further, a friend of mine who ordered the very same products at the very same price in an exactly similar order received the products. He was a member of Amazon Prime. So, does it mean that they treat the people differently based on whether they are or are not members of their prime club? If so, why do they allow others to purchase? Why not work as a membership only site?
Within my family and me, we must have ordered products worth thousands of dollars from Amazon. But now, will never buy from Amazon.com again."
"Amazon does not honor BF deals. Cop out excuse that Black Friday items were price mistakes. Yet many customers had same items shipped to them while I waited 10 days to receive a cancellation email. As result I missed out on similar deals through other etailers."
"Calling their BlackFriday deals a price error. Very lame."
"Ordered Logitech MX Revolution Cordless Laser Mouse like a lot of people and got a cancellation many days later. Apparently 10% or so people got their order but the rest got a cancellation from amazon saying it was a price mistake on Black Friday. Like everyone else I believe that is a lot of horse poop; and like everyone else who could have bought from another retailer but didn't because I got it from amazon I have now missed out on this deal and the rebate purchase date is long over with. Amazon should have honored the purchases especially considering it is christmas buying season and it was Black Friday and people stayed up very late to get these deals. Like everyone else I am upset over this debacle.
Amazon has been pretty good since this issue so I am upgrading my initial rating."
"I too ordered the Black Friday special Logitech wireless mouse...but Amazon decided 10 days later to cancel my order. They have been extremely unhelpful in both email and voice customer service stating they didn't care if my order was canceled, to deal with it that they aren't doing anything.
DON'T BUY AT AMAZON.COM. BUYER BEWARE...Goto another retailer that cares about their customers and doesn't blatantly lie, advertise a special and then not honor it."
"Same thing everyone else is saying happened to me. Order confirmed, order delayed, and finally order cancelled due to price mistake. What a fiasco on Black Friday. How any retailer can back track on their pricing, especially on Black Friday, makes no sense to me. It basically took away any chance for consumers to get deals from other retailers. Black Friday is generally a time when retailers take a small loss in profits to generate more traffic to their stores and websites. Amazon has figured out a way to get consumers to their site, get them used to placing orders, then not actually taking that small loss that other retailers consider the cost of getting more customers."
"Amazon cancelled my order (after 10 days) and saying it was a price mistakes! I wonder, I actually paying a competitive pricing among other web sites. I don't buy this is a price mistakes!!! Amazon did not offer any compensations or other offers for customers who waited for 10 days for their orders!! WARNING TO ALL BUYERS... BEWARE of low price items!!! Go Buy.com instead!!"
"The sale of Logitech MX cordless laser mouse was listed (during a well known shopping sale date I might add) well before the items were presented online with the number available shown on-screen. I waited several days for any notice while noting that the item was in my account ready to be shipped.
After several days I received an email that assured me that the mouse would soon be shipped and apologizing for the delay.
Then (this is a week and a half after sale) I receive a cancellation notice due to 'pricing error'. Of course, many others received their shipments at various dates and a selective process for honoring their price was obviously enacted.
This was a front page advert and was fueled by a rebate offer. They refuse to honor the price or give justification for the runaround.
Update edit: After emailing back and forth Amazon has agreed to give a discount on this offer. While I am not pleased with the specifics, ultimately they have somewhat honored the offer."
