Unbelievable. Now if I want to purchase this item, it will cost me double or triple the original price from other locations since it was a collector's item. Preordering well before it's release should have protected me from price gouging stores once it becomes limited in supply.
Thanks to amazon.com and their horrible service and their inability to honor a purchase order, I could not get the product for myself and for my friends and family as gifts.

I have continued to buy items from Amazon.com since my last review (below). I thought I would update and reaffirm my review, however, based on a recent purchase. Amazon had an incredible price on a Bosch 18v drill and impact driver set. I suspected it was a price mistake because I was able to order it for less than half price. Sure enough, Amazon sent me an email notice stating that the price listed was a mistake. They did not rescind the order, however! That's right Amazon sold it to me for the price I ordered even though they knew it was a price mistake! Awesome!

I've made several purchases from Amazon.com over the years. I have never had a problem with any of them.
My most recent order reaffirmed this experience. I ordered a mouse and was promptly notified that my order was received. The next day I was notified that it had shipped. I received it three days after ordering (with free shipping).
After using the mouse for a couple of days I realized that I wasn't going to like it. I was able to easily return the mouse to Amazon without paying a "restocking fee." (I did have to pay for return shipping however.)
I received an email about 10 days later stating that my credit card account had been credited.
I will buy from them again."

Amazon.com gift certificates "expire" after two years. Even if you "redeem" the certificate into your account, the funds vanish from your account and magically appear in Amazon executive's wallets two years after being issued. They have no intention of giving you any notice that the funds are about to expire.
Their "customer service" is about ten steps below insulting. Email responses totaly ignore things you clearly spell out in your email. Amazon "customer service" phone numbers can only be found on disgruntled customer's web-sites.
Amazon has about $30 of a GC that I didn't know needed to be redeemed by a deadline and I have nothing...
