"Terrible site. Didn't fulfill my OneSale order for a touchpad then sends me a link to a significantly higher priced tablet. When I asked for a credit of $30, they refused and said they weren't crediting people that amount, when I know for a fact hundreds of others had been credited that amount. "
"Getting annoyed with their service lately. I bought a MP3 speaker from them, the X-Mini II Capsule Speaker (Black) and it broke after 30 days. I was SOL. They didn't accept the return. Grumble grumble! I usually love shopping on this site, but you have to be careful who you buy from. If it is a seller other than Amazon. You run the risk of no returns after 30days period or no warranties."
"I must inform every about amazons subscribe and save feature. It's some shady business going on here. I've been an amazon customer for nearly 10 years. I noticed this feature and decided to give amazon another try. I made my first subscription and not even before I could receive my first item, they have already increased the price for my subscription! In just 1 week the prices have already gone up. This is a scam everyone! You don't even get prime shipping on the items if your a prime member! With a the price increase I could just get 2nd day shipping from any other website. This is more like subscribe and pay more money without being informed!! I mean, I would have at least expected to get 1 shipment before there was a price increase! I've let many issues with amazon slip by, and I've even lost money because they have sent me the wrong items. But I let those go and continued to order from them. But this is just absolutely absurd now. They are running a shady business now! Will cancel my account now.

I full understand the policy. Sure prices will fluctuate; but not even allowing your customers to receive at least 1 discounted item, it pretty much renders this feature pointless. The feature is Subscribe and SAVE. Now how the hell am I suppose to save anything if the prices are being increased 1 week into my subscription. For christ sakes, I didn't even get an opportunity to save! In fact, had I not check my subscription I would have ended up paying more!
I'm furious because I feel deceitful activity going on.
Sounds to me like subscribing and unknowingly paying more so AMAZON can save money on shipping, just so they don't have to pay for 2-day freight for all their prime members..
I had even subscribed to another item but now I have cancelled everything because if this incident.

"Avoid. Ordered HP Touchpad. Received confirmation email. Status was "shipping soon". Sat that way for four days. Then received notice that email was cancelled. Taking future business elsewhere."
"Terrible customer service. I ordered an electronic device from them on 8/21/2011 and their site said the seller had 27 items in stock. Four days later they sent me an email stating that their seller had run out of stock.
I have been an amazon.com customer and prime member for over 10 years and spent thousands of dollars shopping there. When I called them to ask for a price match from another of their sellers or the manufacturer they declined to do so. I requested a refund on my prime membership and canceled all open orders with them. I told the CSR that I will never do business with them again and she didn't care. When I asked for a supervisor she said none were available but she will have one call me. Three days have passed and no call. Boo amazon, I'm done with you."
"In the light of the HP TP/OnSale.com mess, Amazon should KNOW better than just sit on their hands and heads in sand then do NOTHING while NoSale.com (formerly known as onSale.com) ripped our confidence in doing business online to shreds.
How unprofessional of Amazon/NoSale.com."
"very bad service, cheating lying and dishonest company"
"My first and likely last experience with Amazon was horrible. I placed a order for the hp touchpad this weekend only to have it canceled 4 days later. Because Amazon stated on my order that my item was in shipping status, I passed up other places I could of gotten a touchpad from. Now I have no touchpad and Amazon is still holding my money 6days into this scam. Never again...."
"Ordered HP Touchpad from onSale through amazon. I got an immediate confirmation saying my order was received. Monday my credit was charged. Tuesday the order vanished from my amazon account. I still have no email , no communication from either amazon or onSale. onSale, what a crappy retailer. Shame on amazon to let them get a storefront on amazon. No accountibility. No communication. Will not buy from them in the future."
"Horrible experience. Do not put your trust in confidence with any sellers on amazon. They do not follow through and protect you from their authorized resellers. Purchased an item from amazon.com via a third party seller. This seller kept me in limbo for 3 days saying they would be shipping soon and on the third day canceled the order, because they sold items they did not have in inventory. Now both companies point the finger at each other, leaving the customer holding the empty bag. BUYER BEWARE"
"Order two HP TP on Saturday evening where I can ordered them from HP or Bestbuy at that time. Then got cancelation email on Wed afternoon. In Wed evening I called the CS and this is the first time in my life to call Amazon customer service after buying stuff from Amazon for seven years. And the experience is the worst among all experience with all kinds of customer service. The first representative is fine. But after she transfered my call to the manager with ID 7049, this guy is definitely the most arrogant representative I have ever seen. He calimed:
1. It is my "PERSONAL CHOICE" to order in Amazon on Saturday evening even though I can order for the same price on HP and Bestbuy at that time.
2. I waste him 8 minutes to discuss this issue that he claimed Amazon has no responsibility even though I waste more than 80 mintes to call Amazon no mention other time spending on this oderd.
3. No compensation is possible even someone already got credits from Amazon and BN compensate 20GC for all customers with cancelation of TP.
Next time, go to Bestbuy or other place to order stuff and DO not trust Amazon as before."
"Horrible seller , selling product they do not have in stock and taking four days to notify that order has to be cancelled .Do not buy from these crooks!!!!!"
"I too was wrapped up in the Amazon and OnSale mess. Very disappointed in how this was handled by both Amazon and OnSale.
I would have expected better from Amazon. Allowing orders to go through knowing the product was not in stock and putting a hold on customers CC. Waiting 3 days to notify people that their orders had been canceled. OnSale should be banned from Amazon so this does not happen again."
"Simply the best customer experience on the web. Low prices, fast shipping. If you need to return something they provide a pre-paid shipping label, it costs you nothing to ship back to them. They always get the order right."
"The onSale touchpad fiasco is deeply disappointing. There are no checks on inventory and no consumer protection, Amazon caused thousands of people that trusted it down and their only action is an "investigation" no forcing to find the product no lawsuits no nothing, were just left to pay 3 times as much from ebay... sad"
