"I ordered a new spigot for my water dispenser on the fridge which was now blasting water out of the old spigot like a pressure washer. I installed the new part and everything was back to the way it was when the fridge was new. Upon looking at and comparing the old part with the new one though, I immediately noticed that the problem with the old one was that it was about 90% clogged up with sediment/mineral/lime deposits. Even though I have a 2-filter setup (one in the fridge itself and another in the water line to the fridge), the water where I live is so hard that it had simply blocked up the very tip of the old spigot. For the heck of it, I soaked it in a vinegar/Lime Away/CLR solution for about 8 hours and then took an old toothbrush to the tip and brushed away the now softened blockage. I know have a perfectly fine "backup" spigot to use when the new one eventually clogs up. Thank you to Appliance Parts Pros though for a great part and fast shipping."
