"My 28yo Kenmore (GE) side-by-side fridge was cooling erratically in both the freezer and fridge. At first too cold then too warm on both sides. Based on the recommendations I bought new defroster heaters and a new defrost timer. It turned out that defroster heaters had burned out. I installed the new defrost heaters and the new defrost timer for good measure. Installation was super easy and the ol' girl is now working like new.
