"I got on the website thinking this was a lost cause. I needed a new kick plate for an older model refrigerator. "I contacted them on a Sunday by email fully expecting to receive a reply on Monday. I was surprised to receive a responsive email within 30 minutes. The problem I had was with the design of a rack fitting inside an oven that my wife and I had purchased 10 years previously.

The racks were all from 1/32 to 2/32 of an action short of reaching from the left side to the right side and resting on the "dimple rails" built into the side of the oven wall. Yes, it is possible to cook with short racks if you put them in an angle and balance the casserole dishes carefully. It is a pain in the you know where. I explained the problem. They were sympathetic and sent me the new racks that I ordered within two days.

Unfortunately, they were the same measurements as the old racks – but they were redesigned with a handle to be a little more helpful. I shipped back the racks and received my refund within three days. While I would have no hesitation recommending them to anyone else for service or parts, you cannot fault AppliancePartsPros because of the stupid engineer-designer who failed to let a cook actually try to put his design of racks in his design of oven. It is obvious that the engineer-designer was unable to measure accurately.

It would be worth the sixth star if AppliancePartsPros had been smart enough to have a handy welder in my area whom they could recommend who could add just a little bit of metal on the outer edge to make sure that the rack would not fall."
