"Horrible customer service - I was told my order would ship same day and I would get a tracking # that evening. After 2 days, my order status still shows "processing". I decided to contact them and in order to do that, you must go into a chat session. If they decide they don't want to help you, they simply leave you hanging without a response to your question. After several tries in their chat room, I finally got a response that my order had shipped. The person could not provide any other information - no tracking #, no idea how it shipped or when. So we're here with a dead refrigerator wondering when/if we will receive our part. Pay a couple of dollars more and go with a reputable seller! "

"I was a bit weary ordering off this site because of negative reviews but ended up with a perfect experience with Appliance Zone. They price matched another site on the same day that I requested without any problems and shipped out my parts via next day fedex to Canada for only $19.95 (normally this service would have cost me at least $50) Parts were well packaged and the live chat reps seemed very informed. Great experience!"

"I was looking for an obscure part that is difficult to find and ApplianceZone had it in stock and the price seems to be the best. I do take issue with their "competitor price comparison" tool. Their tool claimed that Sears did not have the part when in fact a manual check of the Sears website shows that they do carry the part and was in stock. Nevertheless, ApplianceZone did have the best price of the sites I did check.

I chose the cheapest shipping rate and have not received the part yet. I'll update the review once I do.

9/3/2010 Update: a little disappointed that it took them 4 days to process and ship a supposedly in-stock item. Current ETA is an 11 day turnaround from the time I ordered the part. We'll see...

9/8/2010: Part arrived today, so 10 calendar day turnaround in total. Came in manufacturer's original box and in quite good condition (box as well as part).

"I placed an order on a Saturday and received an E-mail confirmation of the order. I was sent an E-mail the following Monday saying my order had shipped and I received a tracking number. I received 3 out of 4 items the following Wednesday using economy shipping. All 4 items were the same item. I was surprised when I opened the shipping box to see that the 4th item was backordered as this was indicated on the invoice with the items I received. The invoice didn't state any expected shipping date for the backordered item. I received a second E-mail the evening of the day I received 3 of the 4 items with another shipping tracking number. I assumed this was the backordered item (and it was). I received the backordered item 3 days after I received the first shipment. It took 7 days to get all of my order and I'm satisfied with that. My order was not time critical for me and AZ has competitive prices. I understand inventory is not an easy thing to maintain or control. It would have been nice to know after I placed my order that when I received the first shipping tracking number that part of my order was on backorder and what the expected shipping date would be. That would be a "nice to have", but not a deal breaker. I will shop with AZ again.

"NEVER purchase here. This reseller does not deserve to be in business:

1. No indication when ordering if a part is available. (Reputable businesses let you know if they are out of stock; this one simply provides no information.)
2. Credit card is charged immediately, regardless of seller's ability to provide the item ordered.
3. No attempt is made by seller to advise the buyer if a part is on back-order, or when it might ship. (In my case, I found later the part was more than 45 days back-ordered.)
4. Seller refuses contact with customers apart from online, scripted "chat" sessions.
5. Online "chat" session cannot be used to cancel order for refund; TO CANCEL AN ORDER FOR AN ITEM NOT AVAILABLE THE BUYER MUST: "Please follow this link to request an order cancellation. We will make every effort to cancel this order for you
if this cancellation meets our cancellation requirements. Please make sure to review our cancellation policy included
in this link. Once we have reviewed this request we will contact you back regarding your order."
6. I filled out the above "request" to cancel, have been waiting for one week with no acknowledgement from the seller.

As such, next week I will file a claim with my credit card company for the disputed charge. This company clearly has no interest in customer service, but only in collecting and holding funds for as long as possible if unable to provide service. My only satisfaction is in knowing that a company with these business practices will not remain in business; as with any "Ponzi"-styled business model, it is only a question of time until its collapse

"Summary: DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE!
After ordering a part for my GE oven, I received a part that was totally different. It did not even have the same part number as what I ordered.
When I contacted customer service, they claimed that this completely different, totally incompatible part was a newly released version of the part I ordered. Over the next weeks, I emailed them repeatedly, writing that the part was not correct, sending pictures that showed the difference in parts, and offering to ship the part back to them at my expense and buy the other part, too, paying the difference in cost and shipping. They only responded to about half of my emails and were completely unwilling to help resolve the problem.
My advice: DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE!

"Given the numerous very negative reviews here, I was nervous about ordering from them but figured my credit card company would help if things got out of hand. I'm very happy to report that my entire experience with them was very favorable. They had the parts (refrigerator bins) in stock, shipped almost immediately, and I received them two days later. The packaging could have been better but both came with no breakage or defects. Fit the refrigerator door perfectly. Add that they had the cheapest price on the parts (and I could easily locate them on their site using the manufacturer's part number), and I couldn't be more pleased. Maybe they fall short when things go wrong, but for me, nothing did and I would take the chance again."

"WARNING: DO NOT SHOP HERE
Horrible customer support.
Return policies that are practically fraudulent
The only means of direct contact is through their "chat room" and when the questions get difficult they just end the chat or stop responding.
Their prices may be a little better, but if you have an issue with your purchase be prepared...... your simply stuck!!
WILL NEVER PURCHASE FROM NOR RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!!

"I used the live chat. I gave the customer service representative my model and serial number and what I needed. They gave me the part number and color. it took me two minutes to order. What a great experience.I wish I had done this in the first place. I have made numerous calls to the appliance guy who came and looked at the freezer and was going to order it for me. Its been over two weeks and he never called me back. Thank you very much Ashley I wish everything was this easy.

"I purchased a part for my dishwasher that I did not need. I never even opened the box and they still will not take it back. They have a policy that they do not take electronics parts back. So be sure it is exactly what you need or you are out of luck. Terrible! The first and last time I ever shop there."

"Very unsatisfactory! Their website indicated that the part I sought was in stock and located in my home state. Delivery was expected in two days. After 3 days I discovered that: the reason the tracking code didn't work was because the part wasn't shipped; the item was not in stock and on backorder; and no shipping date was available due to the back order status. I canceled the order and purchased the item locally. I received an email the next day stating that cancelation was denied because the item was in stock! The company was uncooperative and shipped the now unwanted item anyway, they refused to intercept the order even after I confirmed with UPS their ability to do so. If unwanted I must be at home to refuse the order or request a return authorization (unlikely because it is an electronic item).

Not informing me that the item I sought was out of stock at the time of purchase and failing to contact me after discovering this fact. Offering me two options of an indefinite delivery date or canceling the order but then denying me the cancelation. Shipping an unwanted item after cancelation and refusing to recall an unwanted item in shipment. These facts leave me to wish I could use negative numbers to rate this business. Avoid at all costs!

"Buyer Beware!!!!!

These people are crooks. Ordered a part from them and then got their OK to return it for a refund if I bought another part. Bought the other part and paid extra to get it shipped quick. the second part was more expensive than the first. They tried to tell me that I installed it when I did not! They would not give me my refund so now I'm out over $200. Thank god my credit card stood behind me. DONT SHOP HERE!

"Ordered fridge water filters online. Recieved someone's else's order, and they received mine (we connected via phone). Only option is live chat help, and we both did this with their promise to advise / update. Received no update so had to go back into live chat this morning to find out what was happening. SO FRUSTRATING not to be able to really 'talk' to someone, and to not know what is happening. They are resending our respective orders, so now we will have to wait further. If I hadn't asked I would not have known. I called the other ordering party and he had heard nothing either, so I gave him my update. Also, no ability to complain via their web site. Pretty poor followup to their error..."
