"On the 24 January 2022, I purchased the KitchenAid SS 27-inch Double Convection Oven for my home that I was remodeling after the great Snowvid-21 Freeze that damaged my home in Sugar Land, Texas. I was referred to Goedekers by my contractor and I was very pleased to have found it at the best price versus the local big box stores/appliance stores in the Greater Houston Area. Although the estimated delivery date kept moving outward five different times from April to the 18th of January, I do not fault Goedekers due to the supply chain disruptions that have caused havoc and headaches for many going through the same thing. They were very nice to have given me a 10-year extended warranty at no cost for my trouble and I appreciate that very much. I just hoped that the oven would arrive before the warranty expired. When I called on the 12 January to confirm whether the delivery was on track or if it would be delayed once again, I was happily informed that it would be around 1 February that I should receive it. I was contacted by AM Home Delivery on the 24th and they were trying to deliver it on the 25th but I told them that my contractor would not be able to install it until the 1 February and requested a reschedule for Tuesday the 31st. They once again they contacted me on the 25th attempting to deliver it on the 27th and I told them "NO," please reschedule for the 31st (preferred) or the 30th and I was told that they would put in the request. I had not heard anything from them today and my contractor inquired as to whether he should arrive at my home tomorrow or not. So I called Goedekers and Johnny M did his best to inform AH Home Delivery to reach out to me to schedule the delivery, hopefully for tomorrow. If all goes well, I will have my double wall oven tomorrow!"

Usually customer experiences don’t go so well. You know, you call and can’t understand the person on the other line that is on the other side of the globe, or they’re kind, but can’t help you resolve your problem. Or, they’re not kind at all or you’re on hold for hours while you get transferred from person to person, explaining your dilemma each time.
So, of course I was dreading calling Appliance Connection to resolve a FED EX undelivered, perhaps damaged, drop-in range cooktop I had ordered. I called and decided to hold. Then they let me know I was 34th in the queue. Yikes, I called back and took the offer to get a call back. They must have a lot of customer service representatives, because they returned my call less than half an hour later. Martin Somah was my customer service representative, and I have to say, it may have been the best customer service experience I’ve had. First, he helped me resolve my range order in the way that best suited me and my somewhat undecided travel plans. Then, when I thanked him for his excellent service and complimented him on his very good English (I thought his accent was Caribbean, but he let me know came here from Liberia), he told me how much he appreciated someone being kind to him! These days, it seems like everyone is so unpleasant, I totally understood where he was coming from, especially when dealing with people who are calling with a problem.
That made me remember the terrible service I received from the shipping company they used to deliver my other appliances. Martin listened and laughed with me and told me he appreciated me letting him know, as the company isn’t aware their delivery contract companies are doing a poor job unless the customers let them know. He assured me he’d send my detailed experience up the chain AND offered me complimentary ten year warranties on the appliances for my inconvenience, which I totally hadn’t expected!
He also gave me his personal extension so I wouldn’t have to join the hold queue next time! I’m so glad he did and that I received him as my representative. I really liked the prices and selection at Appliance Connection, but was leery to order from them again on my next projects (rentals), due to the hassle with the delivery company. I will definitely shop with Appliance Connection again, as I now know that if I run into difficulties in the future I can count on Martin to take good care of me. And I’ll definitely let all the friends and family (they all asked who I purchased from, BTW, I did assure them it was the delivery company at fault) I told my ridiculous delivery stories (yes, there was more than one) to how Appliance Connection not only listened, but made it right, which is extremely refreshing nowadays. In fact, it’s only been a couple of hours and I’ve already told two people. Martin really made my day!"
"I purchased a 2.2 cf Whirlpool Microwave oven from Appliance Connection prior Christmas and unfortunately they were out of stock. As a result there was a delay in shipping. What I did like is that the company keeps you informed along the way as to what is going on and when product is in and going to be shipped out ect.. Once the Microwave was delivered the company suggest to open package and inspect to make sure product is not damaged. This third party delivery seemed to not like that I was doing that and insisted nothing was wrong. I went ahead and inspected anyway per Appliance Connection to make sure it was okay.. I would of given 5 stars but because they were out of stock and small delay and plus the delivery man kinda giving me a hard time rushing me to sign so he can get on his way is reason for the 4 stars.
All in All, I am very happy with the my purchase and the price was very reasonable compared to other stores I searched. In fact, they even offered a longer 5yr warranty than most costing less money so I thought this was a win win. I will be using Appliance Connection in the future for any future appliance needs. "
