"This is NOT the same Axiontech with whom I've dealt in the past. While placing the order, I selected the option to have the order shipped together. Instead, it was broken into three partial shipments. I paid for FedEx shipment. One part came by UPS. The third part has never arrived. FedEx delivered it to a store over 3 miles away, to someone at that store. The store has since gone out of business. Axiontech Customer Service has been unresponsive to emails. A single telephone call was received from FedEx, in which they indicated they would try to redeliver. Since the store they dropped the package at is now closed, that can't happen. Chinwe Obioha of Axiontech *said* a claim was initiated on 12 Dec and that "it usually takes fedex about 7 business days to approve it." Today is 23 Dec and the last email received from Axiontech was 15 Dec.
Axiontech was once my favorite online merchant. They have recently become overpriced and under-responsive. They now also keep credit card numbers in their database permanently. This is not the way a brick-and-mortar store works and is not the way an online store should work.
I once highly recommended Axiontech. I now highly recommend avoiding them."

"Axiom had the item in stock - I sent email and asked to be certain. (Other vendors indicated stock but did not actually have any.)
Shipment was prompt, no complaints there. However, on the web site, the weight for the item was listed as 32 pounds, yet the UPS manifest shows a weight of 18 pounds. However, the shipping charge that was applied to the order was for 32 pounds.
Now, the few dollars difference will not affect my financial well-being. However, this is dishonesty, plain and simple. I doubt I will be using these folks again."
