"I give this online store a total failure rate. They cost me a additional $20 in shipping, jack up the prices during sales and told me a motherboard was un returnable-Albatron took back that nforce board they say I ruined, well tech support is really just a scam to make additional charges to the customer, Lieing to me that the board was good just to cheat me out of $10.If you notice Axion trys to steer customers to their site by getting their name on every web site posible-very sneaky people-Andrew will always blame his customers for ruining computer parts-that were sent in bad condition-I almost stopped payment on my credit card-should on the first motherboard they sent me-three transactions-three over charges on my credit card."

"Horrible, first i get an e-mail saying my purchase order but with no ups tracking number. then i tried to e-mail the sales team at:****@**** and i get a send failure error, saying: :
Connected to 216.52.172.74 but sender was rejected.
Remote host said: 553 Sorry, your envelope sender is in my badmailfrom list.

then i tried to go into the website to log into and it wouldn't recognize the password i selected so i sais maybe i forgot the password let me get it send to my email, and i press the forgot password, put my email and it says a message was sent to my email, that was 2 days ago and no email was sent. "I agree with the previous post, and here are my thoughts:
Isn't this shameful! Some anonymous clerk for a major vendor, possibly overworked and underpaid, accidentally posts an incorrect price on their website which is subsequently picked up by resellers' robots and then listed on their own websites all over the world. An oversight, a mistake. We all make them. Most of those who visit the resellers' websites know at once that this price is obviously incorrect. Some will go ahead and try to purchase the mispriced product, and when they are notified that the price quoted was wrong, they will simply chuckle to themselves, "Oh, well! I had to try!" Then there are those reprehensible individuals who will, when notified, holler and calumniate the resellers, as though they have been the victims of some colossal conspiracy to dupe them out of their money. These are those who abuse the welfare roles and court systems, who themselves lie and cheat and steal, but swell with righteous indignation at the thought of someone doing the same thing to them that they do so frequently to others. This whole situation was a simple mistake which made its way onto the worldwide web, regrettable but not criminal by any stretch of the imagination. The poor clerk might have lost his job over this, but do those unspeakably selfish complainers care? They care only for themselves. Their comments here should be removed by Reseller Ratings.

"For all those who complain about them "not honoring their prices" they are quite ridiculous in placing negative reviews, and here is why:

They had a hard drive listed for $3. Anybody can tell that it is a pricing error. This hard drive was selling for around $70 normally. Obviously they canceled all the orders and fixed the price.

They gave an explanation that they update their pricing from their warehouse price list, and that the warehouse made a mistake in their pricing, so therefore the automated system transferred the price error to AxionTech. By the time they realized the problem, hundreds, if not thousands of orders had been placed.

Say 2000 drives had been ordered (most people were ordering 10-20, so this number is probably low... At $3 they would get $6000. Assuming the cost of the drives is $60, THEIR COST would be $120,000. So they would in effect be LOSING $114,000 which would likely put the company into bankruptcy. You can't blame the company for not honoring the "deal". I laugh at the supermarket comparison. It's quite different losing 45 cents rather than $114,000.

Not to mention they have a disclaimer on their site explicitly saying: "Axion may not be held responsible for typing errors and/or errors due to server(s) malfunction." So they have nothing on them. Not to mention it wasn't even THEIR fault.

Now there are those who have conspiracy theories and such, well, they are still CONSPIRACIES! They are not fact, and just somebody's wild imagination who refuses to believe their explanation.

I am ashamed of those who try to ruin this company one way or another, whether it be by making them honor the absurd "deal" or by trashing them here or else ware. It's sad to see that they also selectively tell their stories, omitting certain detail that would most likely change your opinion of their review.

I hope that they will either retract their negative comments, or that you will not be affected by them, because in truth, they are absurd.

Apparantly somebody disagreed with my post. They decided to sign me up for over 100 newsletters from varying sources. This is further testament to the childish-ness of the people posting negative reviews. I have removed my e-mail because of this.

"I tried buying from this company because there was a link on slickdeals.com saying they were selling the 80GB Hitachi drives for $3, which is most obviously a pricing error, but I thought, hey, what's to lose?

Anyways, as you can see, all these dopes who who posted negative comments about the company actually are just cheap f_cks and whiners who are complaining that they can't buy the HD for $3. Note that not one of them states how much the HD was going for -- it's OBVIOUS that it's not the company's fault.

Me? I'm kinda miffed, but I did buy from this company before and they were decent people. Give it a shot, their deals are pretty good, but don't expect super pricing errors from them! :-P

"Ok I'm editing my comment. I just had a lousy week with resellers is all (I got a 9200 when I ordered a 9800 Pro but it was cleared up) and not being able to get that Hitachi HDD on the cheap just sent me over the edge. But in retro-spect I guess I was too harsh. They did send an apoligistic letter and didn't charge my account first then cancel the order (Like some dishonest resellers out there). So all in all I will shop at the site again mainly because accidents do happen. "

"In February of this year, I ordered an ATI Radeon 9700 pro from Axion Tech.over the phone. I specifically ordered a "built by ATI" card which is what was advertised on pricewatch and on Axion's website. This was also verified to me by the salesperson at the time, which is why I placed the order by phone. The card arrived the next week in a plain white box. I did'nt think
anything of it so I installed the card and drivers. The first few times I tried, I could'nt boot the system. I cleaned the contacts and finally got it to boot. After a couple of weeks of problems and errors, I called ATI to verify the part# and Serial#. The technician informed me that the card was not a built by ATI product and suggested that I return or replace it. The card had no ATI markings as well as a serial# that had blown off from the weeks it was in the case (I have a cooling fan on the side of the case).
I called Axion's tech support and informed them of my findings. They told me twice that the card was a good ATI card and I did'nt need to return it. The third call I made to them, I was insistent and after about 10 minutes the person finally admitted that my card was not an ATI built card and it was part of a shipment of no-name cards that they recently sent back to the
vender that supplied them. I can understand why they would send back cards that were built so cheaply that they would make a system unstable and the serial# would fall off. He finally gave me an RMA# and I carefully packaged up the card making sure the Serial# was stuck firmly back on the card in the bag it came in with all the parts and disks. I then purchased a retail ATI 9700 pro from Best Buy and have had no problems with it at all. A few weeks later, I got a call from Axion's return dept. stating that the card was tampered with and the serial# did'nt match the # on the invoice. I informed him about the Serial# problem and explained that I made sure the # was stuck
to the card when it was placed in the bag. After a few minutes of reminding him of what I had just said, he then admitted that there was no serial# on the card or in the bag and said he had searched for it in the box as well.
He also told me that the card was not the same one that they originally sent due to the "fact" that the card was tampered with/serial# did'nt match/serial# missing. After a few more minutes of trying to get through to this guy, I asked to speak to the manager. He then forwarded the call to some dead end, no-name voicemailbox. I left my information but got no response. I called twice more with the same results. I then put the purchase in dispute with my credit card company. Late August I received a letter from my credit card company stating that they could'nt continue the dispute and they were going to recharge my account. They told me that I did not have proof that I sent the same card back to Axion even though I sent them all the information I have stated above. The only proof Axion sent them was a fax of the invoice and a statement that the card that was returned was not the same due to
serial#s not matching. I'm going to be rebilled $300 for a cheap no-name card that I did'nt even order and do'nt even have!!!! I asked the credit
card company how possible would it have been to supply the necessary information to prove I had sent the same card back. They told me it would
have been impossible!!! Obvioulsy, the only ones protected in any transaction are the vendors...and if a vendor wants to be dishonest, they can take advantage of their customers and get away with it. 3 days ago I was finally able to contact the manager of Axion by going through the accounts payable dept. I explained the whole story to him. He told me he was going to research the problem and call me back. When he called me back a few days later, he told me that the card that I sent back looked nothing like the 9700 pros that they sold. He also said his supplier confirmed this as well. He explained that the card was in fact a 9700 pro built by saphire. I was also told that it was a very good card, in fact, a much better card than the cards that are built by ATI. After he explained the benefits of the saphire cards, I asked him what 9700 pros did his company sell. He told me they sold saphire cards!! "Nothing like it" I can't believe how blatently dishonest these people are. They obviously did'nt match the card with their other cards......They did'nt have to.
I have gone through many of the negative comments on resellerratings.com and It seems that they try to defend themselves against them. I'm sure they will try with this one...trying to appear to be an honest caring company. The only way they can try is to contradict what I have said and make me look like a liar. Sorry this was so long winded.

""Time: 10/10/2003 15:07:32 CST" was in the email they sent me. not only did i order from them on the friday afternoon, BUT they were also able to overnight for a saturday delivery for me. and 8.30 the next morning sure as they said, the UPS man came knocking.

item was packaged great (a dual channel kit of OCZ ram). needless to say i was extremely excioted about it. price hurt but it was standard pricing for overnight and saturday delivery (i kow because i do UPS shipping myself) so as a change from NEWEGG, axion was good for me and for the products they DO sell, i will check in on them from time to time.

EDIT++ fforgot to mention that i called them before i made the order to inquire about the saturday delivery...and they even did up an order and gave me a order number and a number to call back when i decided what i wanted to do. i appreciated that.
