"They had a great deal on a Palm travel kit, but not in stock. Shipping was not cheap but not exagerated either. Actually the kit showed up before the in-stock item, both in about 1 week. Overall 0 problems, immediate e-mail confirmation, shipping notifications, tracking, etc "

"Very difficult to establish the order in the first place over the internet. The product was listed on pricewatch.com, but getting the product into the shopping cart required first creating an account and then starting the search for the product all over after login. During purchase it was impossible to use a corporate American Express card because the web page's code kept saying "invalid card type" even though the company supposedly accepts Amex. Finally when using a credit card with a different billing address than the shipping address, Axion for some reason no longer trusts the internet for its transactions and suddenly requires transactions in writing through fax. Finally, the product took more than 2 weeks to arrive (as I write it is still in transit and has only just now been shipped). If the price of the product weren't $15 cheaper than the other retailers listed on Pricewatch, I wouldn't have gone through the trouble. Perhaps these "glitches" are only because I am a first-time buyer, but they certainly do not encourage me to be a second-time buyer!"

"I reside in Puerto Rico. AxionTech has specified that residents in Puerto Rico and Guam, for example, can only CALL IN their orders. I called on Saturday to place my order, but the sales representative who took my call was unfamiliar with processing a order when the buyer was not in the continental US. He instructed me to call again first thing Monday morning. On calling on Monday, everything was processed smoothly and the items were shippped out that afternoon.

The toll free number seemed to be 'out of service' the times I attempted to use it: 1-888-AXION55. However, the local number for Axion (281) did work fine.

Before placing my order, I established an account online. However, the site isn't friendly with all browsers ... there were some basic edit functions I could not realize using Galeon, Mozilla, or Konqueror.

As for the product, I learned of AxionTech searching froogle.google.com for the best price for some wireless cards. AxionTech had the best price -- I was able to purchase 2 cards for the same price that other merchants sell 1 !!!"

"I biught this 1.3ghz AMD cpu and a gigabyte board. the processor had a glitch with displaying graphics and movies. I had it only 3 days, and returned it. it has been gone 2 months and I receive no word as of the status. I have to go to the site to look it up. I find that on 5/14/03 their vendor rejected it as out of warranty. I guess so if it took 2 months to get there. I even called them and got the same results as I would by going to the site. Lesson learned: Don't buy OEM especially from these folks.

Well if your tech department can remember I told the person of this ( I don't remember who it was it was so long ago) that it had the chips and would it be worth sending back. I was given an RMA # and was told to send it in. Any way they are sending my BAD cpu back and have given me $8.00 store credit (imagine that)for shipping it to them. That really helps me out a lot. Oh well, you get what you pay for, so shop wisely."
