"I purchased a motherboard processor combo from Bzboyz and was emailed to please call concerning the order. So I did and they told me that they were out of the processer I wanted but for only twenty dollars more I could get a better OEM one with a better fan. So I went ahead and did it. I dealt with Kim when I called and she seemed to be competent and helpful, I will keep you posted on how the service turns out. I finally got the moboard and cpu combo after "upgrading" to a retail one with a real fan. Kim has been very prompt with her emails and did a good job, however overall I would say she needs to find a company that matches her capabilities. I wouldn't order from them again simply because of the scams they are pulling but was lucky enough to get my products eventually."

"My purchase experiance started out "O.K.". I checked out their prices and it looked good. I had some questions concerning the purchaseing forms (not labeled very well) and I was able to speak with someone on the phone who answered my question.

I proceded with my order and discovered a problem which was my fault I had selected the wrong CPU. I tried calling them immediately after submitting the purchase. I was told it was not in the system yet and to call back the next day. I can deal with that being in IT I understand some processing time may need to take place. I called the next day and spoke with someone who obviously did not have a clue as to what was going on. Before hanging up I made him assure me that my order would be corrected.

Well I check my credit statement and i was billed the wrong amount (price should actualy have been higher). So I new right away that my order was not corrected. So I again call in and this time got someone that sounded competent and once again was assured my order was corrected.

Great!! So I waited and waited almost a week from the day I made the purchase before my product even shipped. Mean while I started to do some snooping and found that I could actually buy better equipment for the same amount of money that I spent with BZBoyz.

So I call to cancel my order. Well what do you no it actually shipped. So I asked what did I need to do to return the merchandise. I was told by some customer service rep that all I had to do is refuse the package that way I will not be charged a restocking fee.

Well I refuse the package the next week that it actually showed up and waited...and...waited. Finially I call and ask for a status on my return. Nothing. Try calling the next day now they no longer take phone calls. Just Great. I finially get an email response saying it will take 2-4 bdays to process my RMA.

I just now got the response today of what I will be refunded and it is $31.26 short. Now I can understand that I do not get my money back for shipping but I no for a fact it did not cost me $31.21 in shipping. To be honest I am not even going to try and contact them. I am just going to every site like this to let everyone beware of this vendor and think very very hard about making a purchase from them.

I will never recommend them to anyone.

"Worst Seller I have ever bought from. Was given the run around when trying to return the WRONG item sent to me. No one wanted to deal with me. I was transferred four times. Was promised PROMPT call backs and was let down time and time again. Finally, I call them back and get nothing but put off. Customer Service closed an hour early and wanted to wait for the weekend to be over before Ordering the part they needed to send to me since they were out.

Originally i called about the problem and they told me i could just underclock the CPU they sent me. I contacted Intel about this and they said this would void my warranty. Will never buy from this company again. Seeking complete refund. Will update later after the Customer Service company Actually will call me back, and its not me actually hounding them to deal with me. I have been very rational.

So After being promised prompt service First thing monday morning, I was more amused that it was me calling them again at 1:30 CST. I called them again and i had to go through the entire previous weeks conversations, to get to the point where it would be resolved. I was put on hold for 30 minutes and Richard took care of my order and promised me that he will do his best to see its in the mail today.
Now i have a serious problem. I had to send them back the part that i didn't order. I HAD TO PAY FOR THERE MISTAKE AND SHIP THE PACKAGE BACK TO THEM. I calmed down after learning there screw up was going to cost me more money and time. Buyers beware....you will be fee'd even for there blunders.

Well it is now November 15th, and i placed my order October 18th. I have YET TO RECIEVE THE RIGHT PRODUCT. ALMOST A MONTH AND NO, I REPEAT NO PART THAT I HAVE PAID FOR. BUYERS BEWARE THESE GUYS WILL RIP YOU THE HELL OFF. GOING TO BBB. NEXT MONTH WHEN I AM IN South Cal. Will be making a special trip to Chamber of Commerce to make a report.

"I just purchased from a AMD 2200 XP, ASUS A7V333 Motherboard, & 512 MG of RAM from BZBOYS.COM. My buying experience was a pleasure! Kim was very helpful she answered all of my questions & her product knowledge was superior over the 2 other places I called. Kim took the time to explain the benifits of everything I was considering for my new computer. I will buy from BZBOYZ.COM anytime I need computer parts. The delivery was quick and on-time! "i wasn't told until a week after i sent in the order that my order would be delayed because of the strike in california on the import ports. stated to them, at that point, that i wouldn't mind waiting longer, though i got no appology for the inconvience. called me a week later to tell me they had my mother board and asked if i still wanted the purchase. stated i did, but asked for it to be overnighted if it would be here the next day. products were supposed to be, but ended up taking two days instead of one. was offered no appology for that. then, checked my credit card to find that $120 extra was charged to it w/o my authorization. this caused my credit limit to be exceded. offered no explanation yet as it is impossible to contact them by phone. refused the package when it was delivered and did business w/another company (local). have yet to see the money recredited to my acct, and it has been almost a week. about to call the cc company and ask refuse the charges.


Follow-up: the company finally got back ahold of me, and will be refunding me everything except the shipping and insurance fees. this was satisfactory to me, and so our business w/each other is done. will not be doing business with them anymore, though.

Final Follow-up: they finally sent me an email stating they will refund me my money, though its what i gave them less $75. they stated their would be no restocking fee, but i couldn't get shipping or insurance back. please email ****@****, if you would like a copy of some of their wording in this letter. it is very obvious that they get this all the time, and i am not the first.

"This company has dishonest business practices! From reading most of the previous reviews on this board and from my own experience with these people, I have determined a pattern of deceit in BZBoyz online marketing. Specifically, they are notorious users of the "bait and switch" method of entrapping prospective customers. I have attempted to order a mobo/processor combo (Abit AT7-Max2/XP2100+) from BZBoyz. 4 days after placing my order, I was notified by email that there was a problem with my order. I contacted them by phone and was told by an individual named Sorin that the OEM version of the processor I had ordered was out of stock. I was offered an "upgrade" to the retail box version of this processor for an additional $25 in order to expedite my order which I agreed to. 3 days later, since I could not locate a tracking number, I called again to check on the status of my order. I was told my order had been drop-shipped from another location and it was on its way. Finally, on the 22nd of October, I contacted Rich at BZBoyz by using ICQ and was told that, in fact, my order had never been shipped but they would ship it that day (their own policy page indicates that my shipping should have been free at that point but was not... it also says they will not charge your card until your shipment goes out but this was also a lie). I was then contacted that evening by phone and was told that they could not ship my order because they did not have the mobo I ordered (as you will notice, I had been told previously that it was the processor that was unavailable). I immediately canceled my entire order with them but I have yet to see my money credited back to my account. THIS IS A DISHONEST COMPANY WHO WILL TELL YOU ANYTHING THEY CAN THINK OF IN ORDER TO JACK UP YOUR PURCHASE PRICE OR KEEP YOU ENTANGLED IN THE PURCHASE PROCESS LONG ENOUGH TO SCAM SOME KIND OF FEE OR CHARGE OUT OF YOU!!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!! THERE ARE "POSITIVE" REVEIWS ON THIS SITE WHICH HAVE BEEN PLANTED BY BZBOYZ THEMSELVES!!! DO NOT BE FOOLED!!! AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!!"

"So far I'm having a really bad experience with BZBoyz (MicroX). They seem to be too BZ to get it right. They first sent me a DOA motherboard. The second is barely bootable, and they gave me an AMD 1500+ processor instead of the 2200+ that I ordered. With the amount of similar experiences of others, I am starting to think they are running a scam. I'm giving them one more chance to fix my order, then I'm going to work with my credit card company as well as the BBB to reclaim my losses. I would rather buy from a street vendor than from these guys again. They are very unprofessional!"

"I placed an order for a motherboard and memory on Sep 4, 2002. On Sep 9, I was informed that they don't carry the motherboard anymore and I asked them to just send out the memory and cancel the order for the motherboard. Customer service said okay, and agreed to send and charge the memory only.
On Sep 29, my card was charged the full price of the order. After contacting customer service, they refunded the price of the motherboard. As of Oct 16, I still have not received the memory.

"Don't buy from these clowns, ever. Their website defaulted to an "upgrade" option for a fan and heatsink but the added charge does not appear on the total. They advertise the MB with a fan, so when it came I put it together and only later when my credit card statement came did I realize they charged me $20 for an "Upgrade" - they don't put the charge in the total you get on the web or in the box when the parts arrive. You only find out when the credit card statement shows TWO charges - one for the price you agreed to pay and another for the "upgrade" - I did not want the "upgrade" but got charged for it anyway. Since I have used the fan, BzBoyz will not take it back. I'm protesting to my credit card company, everybody else should do the same. These guys are rip off artists and defrauding their customers. BEWARE!!!!!"

"I had read lots of terrible things on this site about bzboyz and read peoples experiences very similar to mine up to the point before my order arrived. It got me worried. I thought about canceling, I thought that was a bad idea so I hoped for the best.
Yes, I got the "your processor is out of stock...upgrade?" so i did for $17, no problem. Sorin was very nice and easy going on the phone, so was everyone else, the phone always picked up and I was never on hold.
When it finally came in the mail I was surprised to find the motherboard and processor in their origional packaging, untouched and perfect.
Bottom line: Everything was good, the comments were a scare and BZBOYZ (MIRCOX) sounds just like a struggling company that may cut corners here and there. BZBOYZ may not be as reliable as other places, but their low cost is attractive. I cant say whether or not I would shop there again, the whole experience was a little too nerve wracking.

"I purchased a decent amount of hardware from BZBoyz online, thinking that it was a good deal in terms of price. 3 days later, I got an email saying half of my order request is out of stock. Fine, I told them to cancel and ship out the rest of my order. Another 4 days passed before the remaining parts were actually shipped. Additionally, they did not adjust my shipping rates + insurance at all, and ended up paying an extra $50 for parts that took a total time of two weeks to show up. Phone support was responsive but seemingly rude and eager to get me off of the phone. That was my first and last experience with these clowns. "
