"This company is not easy to deal with. They put you on hold for exteded periods of time- customer service is terrible. Prices are good but it is not worth the hassle. I brought this customer service issue up to the manager who in return explained to me that they have no focus on customer service- the margin of resale is very low- therefore that is thier focus in turn this area suffers. Not the type of company to work with if you expect quality service!!!!!!!!"

"I purchssed a MSI KT3 ultra MB w/ 2000+ XP processor from Bzboyz. Today I visited their website and saw the KT3 ultra2 combo for the same price so I gave them a call. I called 4 different times, and was placed on hold for a total of 6 times. Finally I got a hold of a customer rep. by the name of Kim. She was the only person willing to resolve my issue w/ out putting me on hold. I found out that their was a typo on their website which made their 2000+ XP processor cost much lower than what it should have. They had these back order with about 200 orders. I decided to upgrade to the KT3 Ultra 2 with retail boxed processor for $60 more... i know that's a lot but I was desparate. Anyway Kim took care of my exchange and dropped me an e-mail with order # and price. To Kim I rate her a 10... all the other reps that transferred me and hung up on me so many times... you all get a 0. If not for Kim I would have dropped my order. "

"Bought a motherboard (FIC AZ11E and OEM (Athlon Thunderbird 1000) processor from them. It was a difficult setup and the system has been slightly unstable (random restarts or system halts) since it was built. Then last week it failed.

I figured it was the motherboard, and ordered a new one from another trustworthy company. That didn't solve the problem.

I then ordered a processor from the same trustworthy company. Bingo that solves the problem.

So then I contact AMD to see if by chance I can get a replacement CPU or something (yeah I know its an OEM Processor to start with, but I figure its worth a shot). AMD tells me my OEM Processer is a Refub. I thought it was new.

Basically, two years ago I didn't know about resellerratings until after I ordered from bzboyz. Then after reading about them selling unlocked Athlon 700's as Athlon 900's I got worried. Especially when my system had so much trouble with initial configuration, and stability.

Now I know they sold me a Refub OEM Processor instead of a new OEM Processor (purchase was for a new OEM processor). While I don't know if they knew it was new or a refurb, after reading the other things here I would just suggest that you make your purchases elsewhere.

Placed an order for a Thermaltake Aluminum case on 8/24. Price was WELL below all other resellers. After 4 days my case had not shipped and I came here and posted a complaint on what I perceived was the runaround I was being given by customer service.Turns out the runaround I was getting was from Thermaltake.

Today I received an email from Sam, the owner of the company explaining the problems with mine and others orders for the Thermaltake Case.He offered that if I keep my order with them they will give me free shipping and the case at cost. Also my next order at cost also. I asked for his permission to post his email to me and am waiting for his reply.
I think that him personally responding to my problem helps to strengthen his credibility in wanting to improve their customer service and to get repeat business. I definitely see it as a plus to get MY repeat business. If I can come here to complain about an unhappy situation with a business I also must be willing to come here and openly share what is being done to resolve my complaint and ultimately the final satisfactory resolution. If I can condemn in public I must be willing to praise in public as well. Will post his email when given his permission and will update as this process moves along.

"I know that most of the comments here are negative, but i had an OK experience with this company. Needed to purchase 40 motherboard/oem cpu combos and memory for a system upgrade at our firm. Bzboyz had the lowest price -- too good to pass up so i called. They asked if i wanted to upgrade the CPU's to retail boxed versions for $30 more. I declined and they said ok. It took them 2 days from the time i placed the order to ship the products, but this may have been due to the quantity. On receiving the goods everything checked out ok. Overall the service was acceptable and the price was better than average. "

"Haven't purchased anything from these guys, but just wanted to say THANK YOU!!!! for posting all of your comments about this company. I too found them on Pricewatch, great price for what I need (a couple of OEM CPUs). Would have placed the order if I had not seen this website.

As for the comment they have made that they have 99 happy customers for every 1 disgruntled customer, I find this hard to believe. That wouldn't explain their less than 3 rating when MANY other companies deliver what they are supposed to.

"After reading through the comments I'm really sorry I did business with these bunch of scam artists. Thanks to past posters on the multiple business names as well to know who else to stay away from (this company also goes under the name MicroX as far as I know). Yes I know the order date is somewhat old. Basically I ordered some memory from these guys. 3 of the sticks were bad. As per their policy, you end up paying for return shipping on your replacement product (gee, how nice of them). Well in this particular instance, they sent me back the exact same 3 defective memory pieces that I had sent to them initially. And yes, I marked them, I know you sent me back the exact same stuff, AND had the audacity to charge me $15 for sending me back the same garbage. Not to mention they used a credit card they had no authorization in using, and yes the credit card company has been notified. Then I sent the memory in again, this time asking for a replacement with another brand. NOW all of a sudden, "we tested your memory and it's fine and we will be charging you a $35 service charge". Like hell you will. I've tried to be reasonable but obviously they don't want to hear it. I'm currently in process of seeing to it that my credit card numbers are changed so that these scammers no longer have access to my information. If anyone has the information for contacting the California BBB, and/or any other method of complaining/reporting, feel free to pass it along, as these guys will definitely be reported. The rating says it all. And PS: BzBoyz, don't bother replying to my post, your credibility is already nonexistant.

1) I wouldn't have had a problem paying for shipping for a replacement product, not the same defective garbage that I sent to you in the first place.

2) Your memory is marginal at best and I'm sure you've setup your tester to forgive errors. I just put a stick of 256MB PC133 Infineon in my board, been up for 3+ hours so far now, ROCK SOLID. Your memory would have crashed my machine by now.

I'm not going to bother to call you, on my dime (long distance) and speak to anyone, as far as I'm concerned I'm done with you and your deceptive business practices. I hope enough people read this and heed the multiple warnings posted on you so that you lose business, and hopefully, go out of business.

"It is obvious from the ratings on this and other sites that this company could care less about it's customers. It is also obvious that they are participating in a scam using pricewatch.com. Please be aware that this company works under several different names including: bzboyz, partspc, and tufshop.com (that I know of). This company will advertise prices on products that are not availble, then they will request that you "upgrade" your order and pay more. My order was "sitting in the hub" for 10 days, each time I called I was told that it would ship tomorrow. Finally I have in and canceled the order.
This is rediculous and it's obvious that it is a scam. Please do NOT buy from this company.
I am considering legal action at this poing, they have been reported to pricewatch and the BBB of CA.

"Similar Situation again, ordered last week, a motherboard and OEM AMD xp 1800 combo. The next day,
sales called and said OEM CPU is out of stock and need to add $40 for retail cpu.
What the hell...don't talk about other resaler's price different is only $15, bzboyz's own web site's CPU price different for OEM /retail is only $25...so what is the extra cost for?
I called again and this time someone offer me a $35 to change to
retail chip...anyway, it's too much and I can buy a xp2000 for that price.
Finally has to cancel the order.
Re-purchase the same thing from newegg and it's price is similar and shipping is lower and also has
FedEx instead of UPS ground.
End up paying the same.
Also need to check if the boyz has
charged my visa.

"This place sucks. I always use pricewatch.com and till now never had a problem. BZboyz's customer service and tech support is horrid, I don't understand how a company as bad as this can remain in business.

I bought an AS7333 combo with a AMD 1.8g processor, when I got the MB and processor I found that nothing worked on it. I've currently sent the box back via their RMA service, which from what I’ve read on this site is a waste of time. I'll update this when I see results.

I should have known a company that uses various names like (MicroX and Partspc.com ) wouldn’t be a place to trust. Even there aliases have bad reviews.

" I received my order with no problems, but when I checked my bank records it showed that an extra $25.08 had been deducted from my account from BZBOYZ.com on top of the $121.69 charge that I knew about. To make matters worse, since I was unaware of this $25.08 charge I did not have sufficient funds in my account, so it was overdrawn. I called customer service, and after being transferred to at least four different people I was told that the person who handles this kind of problem was not available. I was told that I would be contacted when that person became available the next day, this person did not call! When I called the next day, there network was conviently down for the entire day, and no one would even comment on my order.

The $24.35 "upgrade option" does appear on the page that I printed from the web site, but it looks like an OPTION that I DID NOT CHOOSE! If this charge would have been included in the total shown I would have realized the problem then and been able to correct it before it was charged to my debit card.
The charge also did not show up in the "grand total" in the confirmation e-mail that was sent to me.

When I looked at my bank records more closely I realized that the original charge and the "upgrade" charge where not only seperate, they were four days apart!!! This tells me that they deliberatly hide these charges so that people won't notice them. I probably would not have noticed it if had not overdrawn my account!

I think this sleezy site should be SHUT DOWN IMMEDIATLY!

"This company has prices quoted on pricewatch.com which they do not honor. They do not update their website with the latest information - and then they had the audacity to charge me over $100 for my $75 order (without even contacting me).
I was extremely displeased and will encourage all I know not to do business with this company. They are a poor excuse for a true competitor in the marketplace, and I am 100% certain they will ultimately fail and fold.
