"I have ordered from Banana Hobby twice now and so far I have been somewhat dissatisfied. Before I begin let me start off by saying how great the website is. I think I've watched just about every flight review that Pete has done and I've enjoyed every one of them. The reviews have helped me out on my purchases. I love how the website is designed and its been really easy to navigate and learn; To which I've learned so much from. But the one thing I have been dissatisfied with is the ordering. The first time I ordered, I ordered an item that was on back order. Because of this, the shipping took a bit longer then usually which was a very understandable inconvenience. The only problem I had with that is on your order status it tells you roughly how many days your order will be shipped. My order took a lot longer then what was stated to the point I had to call and find out what was going on. After I called it was shipped that same day. On my second order, I ordered items that were not on back order and expected it to be shipped out within 1-3 days as quoted on the website. A couple of days later I received an email stating that one of the items I ordered was out of stock in that particular color. It really wasn't a problem I called and switched it to the color that was in stock. I was hoping that it would have been shipped by now. But because it has been longer then stated in my new order conformation ( the new color change) I am left feeling somewhat dissatisfied with the whole shipping process. I understand that both times I ordered it has been in holiday season and the shipping process can not preform as efficiently as it would in a non holiday part of the year but I can honestly say I had a higher expectations before I first ordered."

"I spoke with someone at Banana Hobby who helped me immensely in guiding me to choose an RC helicopter for my husband as a beginner. I was looking at a particular model based on some information I had gotten from a website dedicated to giving information about this hobby. The person who helped me advised me to get a different and less expensive model. My husband would be able to work his way up to the model I had originally looked at as his experience progressed. I know I am dealing with an honest website when the person I am dealing with doesn't try to sell me a more expensive item but a lesser expensive one! He answered all of my questions and was willing to explain anything to me that I was unsure of. I would recommend Banana Hobby to anyone looking for their product line. Shipping was on time too!"
"Ordering items is easy, getting them to ship and respond to damaged shipments appears impossible.
Received two helicopters on Dec. 12. One had a tail rotor broken off in the box. Shipping boxes, aircraft box and stryrofoam were all undamaged. Contacted customer service and submitted pictures as directed. As of today, 12/20 I have yet to here from them. I sent a second customer service Email approx. two days ago and still haven't heard anything. This was to be a Christmas present. Also, I experienced very slow responses while in the chat room with them.
On a second note, I had to order repair parts for another aircraft before I realized I can get them on Amazon. The order was placed Dec 13th and it took two days before it was filled.
Overall, their customer service is totally unacceptable. "
"this being my first order from banana hobby i am satisfied .with that being said i have recently read some unfavorable reports on there lack of customer service and lack of parts for the items they exclusivley sell . since my first order i have been forced to make two more purchases for one of there exclusive items.and no problem with spare parts just my flying so i say ...hi Pete and Go Banana Hobby"
