As for my shopping experience with bedinabox I am well satisfied and they were more informative about the memory foam/gel topper than all the rest. "We love this bed! I did a ton of research - in stores and online and we finally decided to buy from bed in a box. We are so happy we did. One thing I would have changed - not sure we needed to replace our old box spring with the wooden platform. It is a very well made platform, but we did have to buy a metal bed slat set in order to support the platform on our king bed. It took some time to get the slats situated and the platform on the slats to lay flat. Once we did, we opened the mattress - that was the easy part. We liked the feel and comfort of the bed from the first night and were not bothered by the very subtle mattress odor that nearly disappeared after just 3 days. I was very skeptical about buying a mattress online and not buying the so-called industry leading memory foam bed, but I am extremely happy with our decision."
