"This review is more about loyalty and good customer service than anything else after being charged a 100+% promotional interest penalty.
I made a mistake, and had a promotional purchase being paid on a monthly "auto pay" from my bank. I didn't pay attention to my monthly statements, because I knew it was being paid every month ( early every month). When I did look at recent statements, I noticed a problem. When I went back a few months, I saw where I received a $457 interest charge on a $422 remaining balance. I immediately called when I found the problem, and was told since a few months had passed there was nothing they could do now. I told them I would have paid the $422 if I would have known to avoid a 110+% interest charge.
I asked if they could split it or do anything as I have been a customer for 20+ years and literally have spent in excess of $20k. The answer from Best Buy customer service & her supervisor for that type of loyalty is "I am sorry - Nothing we can do".
I've learned my expensive lesson here, and will spend my money with a company that appreciates the customer. That definitely is not Best Buy.

I would rate the delivery, after sale customer service & return service a zero if it was an option! Purchased 86” TV on 11/7. TV delivered 11/11 and installed 11/11, connected TV to power, does not function, uninstall TV, spend 2.5hrs on chat and phone, eventually get return pickup & replacement delivery scheduled for today 11/14. Delivery window was set between 7am & 1pm, this morning I received an email at 8:49am that driver was on his way, at 9:20am I received an email that TV had been delivered, no delivery or return pickup ever occured !! At 12noon I spent another 2.75hrs on phone & chat trying to find out why the delivery & pickup did not happen. No answer given, just rescheduled for 11/21, so that is a 3rd day I need to take off work! I called back to cancel order as I will purchase from another retailer (Costco), told order was cancelled & I would receive an email confirming. Guess what, no email! I check my account online, order has not been cancelled! I guess tomorrow I’ll be spending more hours on the phone! BestBuy is a completely disgusting & with zero customer service after purchase! NEVER BUY FROM BESTBUY!!!"
"Went to Best Buy Sheboygan late morning last Thursday to buy a router Two clerks at door greeted me say me go nearby and look at routers they just kept talking and ignoring me--Store was dead (usually is) plenty of sales people saw me looking but no help. Went finally to front door where they were still talking and asked for help which they then gave me.
I like Best Buy but buy as little as possible there because of the poor service. Bought some appliances there recently , a large tv ect but heaven forbid if you ever have to call the store
They have the worst telephone service in the UNIVERSE. After My wife waiting over 30 min for help 5:pm til 5:30 she finally hung up (Sheboygan Store) I also tried Appleton over 15 min on hold and I hung up. What the hell is wrong with Best buy--Do they want to **** off the few customers they have buy never answering their calls. Wake UP and have some live body man the phone. In my entire life I NEVER had such long wait times when contacting a retail store. "

"I've never had so many issues with one merchant. With orders being canceled, representatives lying, and no service whatsoever. No one at this company knows what they're doing or they are unable to solve a problem. Best Buy has been in business for a long time but they should be closed. My opinion that the only way they remain profitable is by manipulating customers and attempting to extract as much money as they can from the naive. Save your time and avoid this criminal operation."

"Our recently puchased washer started leaking 3 days after delivery. It was replaced yesterday by Best Buy but only after a horrible customer experience service with the exchange process. When we called to report the issue with Geek Squad they referred us to a different department that was a nightmare. During the nearly 30 minute call the Rep laughed at my Wife several times and said "Oh my God" as a response to her pushing for a better delivery date for the replacement washer. When we demanded to speak with a Manager she and I were both told that due to Covid and their working from home, a Manager was not available. We were told that a Manager would contact us in 24 to 48 hours. It is now a week later and no call.
We purchased our current dishwasher several years ago from Best Buy and had a similar experience with leaking and similar experiences with customer service. When shopping this time we chose Best Buy only because they had the item in stock when other retailers did not. My Wife was very hesitant due to our previous experience but I convinced her that the last time was likely a one off experience. I was wrong and we will never purchase an appliance from Best Buy again. "

July, 2020, bought a NetGear WiFi extender (750) for $49.99. The coverage wasn’t strong enough, so a week later I returned it for one with a wider range (2000) for $99.00. As it turns out, even the 2000 sq ft coverage was spotty, often requiring us the re-connect or relaunch in order to have a connection, which is unacceptable. Yesterday (October 17, 2020) I attempted to return the 2000 sq ft extender for a 10,000 sq ft ($149.99) extender. The greeter was friendly, the floor sales person was friendly. When I got to the register, receipts and return product in hand, the cashier said “I need to get a manager”. Hope came over and said “this is outside the 15 return window, there’s nothing I can do. I can neither return nor exchange this product. Have a nice day”. I said “what do you mean... you see the history that I’ve only returned to get a stronger, more expensive product. The 2000 sq ft is in its original box, I just need s stronger one.” I further said “look at my purchasing history... I’ve bought computers, televisions and accessories from Best Buy. I’ve even had a Geek Squad contract for over 10 years. You’re just gonna let me walk out of here of a $50 PROFIT because my return is over 15 days”. Her response: “there’s nothing more I can do. Have a nice day”.
I came home and dialed the 888-BESTBUY number. Guess what? There is NO option for customer service. I pressed “2” and after 3 rounds of pressing “0”, i was defaulted to another option where I was finally able to get through to “Mark”. Mark kept me on hold forever while he tried to resolve my issue. In the meantime, I’d accessed the Best Buy website and was concurrently reading the return policies. When Mark finally did return to the line, he read me the policy from the website and told me that there was nothing more he could do, that the store manager had the final say.” I asked for a service supervisor and he told me that it would be a long hold, but that he’d try to find one. I held for 40 minutes before I began an online chat with Vincent V. Vincent told me that supervisors were very busy... that they had a lot of meetings and that I’d probably be on hold with Mark for a very long time.
Over the years, I’ve spent thousands and thousands of dollars with Best Buy, and this manager, Hope, at the Buckhead Atlanta location had no better sense than to walk a customer out the door over an exchange where she and BB would’ve benefitted. Never again... they’ve gotten my last dollar."
"Purchased appliances online from Best Buy with delivery and installation. Scheduled the delivery day and took the day off of work. I received a phone call that morning to tell me that they could not deliver my appliances and that in 24-48 hours I would get a call to reschedule. I called Best Buy for help. They also could not help me get my items delivered that day. I was also told that it would be at least another week before I would be able to reschedule. I couldn’t wait that long, so I asked that my purchase be canceled and I be refunded so I can go out and purchase appliances the same day. I was told that only the installation could be refunded ($.01) and that I would need to call back in 24 hours to request again a refund for the appliances. That didn’t seem right to me that I would be asked to do this when Best Buy is the one who is letting me down, so I asked to speak to the manager.
I then waited 55 minutes to talk to the manager because he was “busy.” Finally got to talk to the manager after an hour. Was told that they cannot even call the warehouse to talk to someone about our delivery. They could only send a message to them regarding our order with no guarantee of any response. They could not refund my appliance purchase because it was in “delivery” status and I would have to wait for this as well. So now I’m stuck without appliances and no refund so I cannot go out and buy appliances on the day off that I scheduled for this. Terrible experience. The assistance/answers were not sufficient when I spend over $2000 on this one purchase. Will never purchase anything from Best Buy again."
"I purchased the CyberPowerPC - Gaming Desktop - AMD Ryzen 5 3600 - 8GB Memory - AMD Radeon RX 580 - 2TB HDD + 240GB SSD - Black for my son's birthday and so far its working good. He loves the different colors that the tower gives off. The mouse broke after a day but I contacted CyberPower and they are sending out a new one. Hopefully it will work for a while. "
"Bought two 55" Samsung Picture TV during Covid. Store Manager Cory helped me over the phone.
Once Delivered and I had someone install during this time, one tv did not work.
Called BestBuy Atwater, they would not even answer the phone.
Called Samsung who wanted a receipt, not the email showing I paid 3000.00. Called
over 5 times for a receipt over a month and finally got someone in US who in 2 min utes sent me a receipt. She even tried to reach out to ATwater Bestbuy and she could not get through and sent an email to corporatate to reach out to me and no one did. Samsung could not fix the TV and told me to go to Bestbuy for an exchange.
so today i did and let me tell you what a mess and i still have the crap they sold me in my car.
If you want service on your major appliances NEVER NEVER deal with Best Buy.
They do not care and now waiting for Samsung to send them something to replace the TV
which is only 3 months old!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"I went into best buy at superstition springs mall in mesa az to buy a dash kit for my car stereo. For starters no kits were stocked on the sales floor all but maybe 5 were stored in the back for the installers none for the consumer.. when I asked for help the associate was so lazy he never even stood up from the chair he was sitting in playing on a computer..when I asked a specific question as what size double din stereo will this fit he said well standard..umm what is standard..they range from 6.2 inch to 7 inches.. he said dont worry it should fit well long story short it didn't fit and he told me I had to buy a separate wiring kit and the wiring kit I had already purchased..i asked why he said I needed amp harness ... i said no i do not my sub is an amp and sub in one prepowered..he said you still need an amp kit long story short no I didn't and he failed to tell mei needed a separate turbo harness for my surround sound pro logic stereo in my car ... i have been there 4 times to return what this same employee keeps saying i need all while he sits on his **** staring at a computer screen and knows absolutely nothing about the area he is working in but I have to say the ladies in the phone area ... perfection these ladies are knowledgeable and awesome "
