"Placed an order sometime between 2-3 in the morning for same day delivery. Best Buy's same day cut off is 3:PM, so I had 12-13 hours left. It was for a VR headset. It was for Friday, as I had some guests over to check it out. All day Friday, it said, "preparing for shipping". I phoned in at 7:PM when Is saw the status was still the same. A rep told me "don't worry, it will be there tomorrow". I said, NO, I PAID for SAME-DAY-SHIPPING -- NOW I DON'T WANT IT AT ALL AS I AM LEAVING SATURDAY FOR THE WEEKEND. He said "well, Best Buy will refund the same day shipping. I said, I DON'T CARE! I was expecting it today. He said "it was a very busy day". Are you kidding me? Don't flipping advertise SAME DAY if your company can't handle it! I told the rep, just cancel the whole order. He claimed he could not because it's "in progress", and "you can simply bring it back to a Best Buy Store for a complete refund". I was like - yeah, now I have to lug a 6 pound box to your inept store! I
It's back to Amazon. Best Buy was getting better, but now, they are back to 2003 when they were crap. It's no wonder Amazon swallows up and spits chains like you. First time trying same day, now It's NO day ever."
"I purchased an outstanding IBUYPOWER Desktop PC. It has an Intel Core i7-9700F - 16GB Memory - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 Super - 1TB HDD + 480GB Solid State Drive. After researching the purchase for a couple of weeks, I could not find a better price point of $1299.00 for a similar system. Setup was easy and only had a lose connection with the RGB fan lighting. This machine has ran all of the games I play flawlessly. I am very pleased with this purchase. "
"Do not order online from Best Buy! I placed an order for some peripheral items (cables, etc.). Right after that my work went into meltdown and I am just coming out the other side now and realizing I never received the items. Their website says the package shipping status is still "Awaiting UPS pickup" which means they never sent the items and they freely admit this. However it has been 7 months now so they will not refund or reship the order. First I spent half an hour on the online chat. That rep seemed perfectly happy to "re"ship the order. Until she found out it was more that 6 months. Then she told me I had to call in as well. After going through the recorded phone tree, I got someone I couldn't understand telling me no refund or reship. It had been too long. I said that if I was complaining about a received product I would totally understand, but their own website says it was never delivered! 7 months was all I kept getting again and again, even from a supervisor. When asked "so you never shipped the product and now you are keeping my money, is that OK with you?" He started the standard script and I stopped him and asked again with the emphasis on YOU. He hesitated a long time and then went into the script. Keep in mind that all of the customer service reps are in the middle east and can barely be understood. I recommend you all go to Best Buy and shop until you find what you want, then go home and order it elsewhere."
"Purchased foreign electrical converter. When I arrived in Amman, product was defective. Returned the day after I arrived back in US. Wouldn't give a refund for defective product, only a store credit. Buy your products elsewhere. "
"So, I am writing to you today to talk about my experience with Best Buy. I bought the total tech support because I thought that it would be worth the investment, was I wrong. So here is what happened to me today and why I will not be renewing my total support membership.
At 11:21 this morning I called the Millbury Ma store to tell them that a Turtle Beach headset that I purchased or my son was less than a year ago was not working, They told me that they could not deal with that item because it was not part of the support policy and I would have to contact Turtle Beach.
At 12:09 PM I called the 1-***-***-**** number to verify if this was true or not and they told me to make a appointment and the store should take care of everything. I tried to relay the information that I was told by the store personel earlier but they assured me that it would be taken care of. So I made a 6:40 PM appointment to bring it to the store.
At 3:40 PM I called the number again to verify that I would not be driving to the store and find out that they would not except the item. The woman again assured me that if they could not fix it at the store, that they would send it to the manufacturer for me.
At 6:40 PM I arrived at the store and was told that they could not help me with the item and I need to contact the manufacturer.
At 7:00 PM, I called the 1-800 number again and explained everything that happened to me and they told me that the store did the right thing. I was extremely irritated because I was told by 2 different representatives that things would be taken care of. I insisted to talk to a supervisor and they told me that there would be a 1 hour wait time. They told me that the supervisor would call me in one hour or so . It is now 9:10 PM and no phone call yet.
I am not happy and I will not be renewing my total tech support membership.

"As Best Buy continues its slide into retail demise its revised business model increasingly includes simply not honoring its own return policies whenever they sell store damaged or defective merchandise. I bought a cellphone from them which was delivered to me damaged. I attempted to return the defective merchandise but the return was refused because as the Best Buy manager put it "We don't know who broke it." I would think they don't know but neither do I. The fact is they are selling damaged merchandise from their stores and refusing to honor their comittments, which is reflected in thier very low customer satisfaction rates and rising consumer complaints. Let the buyer beware seams to be Best Buy' new motto."

Just tried and was told by Chris the manager in Huntington, NY that I had 15 days (to test out all the functions of this device) and return it, even for an exchange. He was sarcastic and certainly not anyone I would want representing my business.

It’s been two weeks waiting for a replacement and this morning they called to reschedule the delivery for two weeks out AGAIN because they don’t have enough delivery personnel. Never again will we purchase from Best Buy. The original Oder was Sept 15. The subsequent was Sept 23. "
"First they delivered a broken TV on Tuesday which they had to take back. Then they scheduled to deliver and install a new one on Friday. They never showed up. I am many thousands in the hole, two full days wasted and no TV yet.
