"This is about the service. It is sorely lacking in several respects: phone systems, customer sales interactions, tech customer interaction, online chatting. Heaven forbid a customer gets caught up in the tentacles of the phone matrix system...it is indeed a matrix of horror: dropped calls, calls sent to limboland, incomprehensible speech; etc.
A note about the in home agents that evaluate the home for theater installs etc: THEY WORK FOR THE COMPANY NOT THE CUSTOMER! They will convince you to buy stuff you do not need. BE CAREFUL AND BE WELL."
"Best buy advertised they would install ANY remote start no matter where you bought it. Waited three weeks for my appointment and when I got there on time, They said they couldn't install it.

"We ordered a washer , dryer , refrigerator ,range ,dishwasher ,microwave ,range hood vent plus all the add on items they charge you for . That was Nov 10th . delivery Nov 20th oh no we have to change that to Dec 5th from 7am to 12p that day . That was then changed to Dec 11th same time . We do not live at the house so we show up at 7am . Approximately 8am we get a cancellation call . SAME DAY as delivery. Re-scheduled Dec 13th , call back , oh no has to be the 15th Dec. believe it or not another call changing the delivery to Jan 13th , today , 7a till noon time . We arrive at the home at 7am and yes at 7:20 we get the call that they have to reschedule ……………. lady on the phone was of no help , I have now called the Canton Ga store where the online order went to . Unable to reach anybody and I mean anybody . I call the corporate number listed ,1-***-***-**** absolutely no help no call back /I call the another listed HELP number 1-***-***-**** no answer , yes leave message . I call to try and reach the President Mike Mohan , I'm told he has no line and no secretary. More numbers 1-***-***-**** TJ will call me back .NO CALL BACK !....Corporate help number again try 1-***-***-**** again a phone run around Try ***-***-**** again they will call me back .NO CALL BACK This is absolutely unbelievable .Everyone is shielded from calls or don't call you back .This is our 4th house with appliance packages from best buy , NEVER AGAIN ……………. "2 stars is about right. Can find good deals but, sometimes it might not be worth the hassle. Internet site shows out of stock items with no way I can find to remove them from searches. Will also let you add items to your cart that show in stock but when checking out, will tell you its not available and remove it from your cart. Not sure if they still do the restocking fee crap but, its still plastered on everything I see from them. If this is the case, I would pick one of 20 other online companies that don't charge you and let this company die."
"Son received this model for Christmas. He had been wanting a pc game for his laptop, but it wasn't going to have the horsepower to run it. He absolutely loved it and is playing his brand new pc game he has wanted for the longest time! It is a workhorse and is he puts it, "looks awesome," due to its clear pc chassis! "
"Purchased a pressure cooker from Best Buy.com. Never received and called them, they refunded the amount. The next day the item came and I called to tell them I received it and they recharged my credit card. Opened the item and it was damaged I returned to the store and they said it was already credited. I explained it was re-charged on 12/9 and had to get my credit card company on the phone to prove what I was saying. The store called BestBuy customer service and had to open up a "CASE" to get my refund. I left the item at the store and requested the manager sign something saying I left the item at the store. I was in the store for an HOUR for this return. To date I still do not have the refund and will have to dispute the charge with my credit card company. BTW this is STEALING!!!!!!"
"twice now i have tried to order a kitchenaid stand mixer and twice now it has "gotten lost in the mail" and they never believe you even though Canada post confirms it. and they take forever to refund you. refuse to send you a new product, say you just have to wait weeks for a refund and then reorder (at a higher cost since the sale is over). it's actually insane. "
"Just got a IBUYPOWER Desktop - AMD Ryzen 3 3200G - 8GB Memory - NVIDIA GeForce GT 710 - 1TB Hard Drive from Best Buy for under $500. So far, it is working great. My son really wanted it to primarily play on i-racing. He says it runs it smoothly with no glitches. It was, however, missing the remote to change the colors on it, but my son says you can use the keyboard instead, so not too big of a hiccup. All in all, it seems to work great for the price."

"Yesterday, I placed a online order for pickup at the Towson, MD York Rd store.
It was supposed to be ready for pickup within the hour. When I arrived 2 1/2 hours later it was not ready - OK no problem - I cancelled the order and went to the store shelf to oick it up to find a sign that indicated that the item is "kept behind the counter". Ok I asked the associate at the store pickup desk for someone to get it for me. She told me I had to find a "Blue Shirt" to get it for me. I found a blue shirt but he wouldnt help me because "it wasnt his department". I went back to the same unhelpful stoe pickup lady and politely let her know that I was frustrated and very unhappy. Finally another associate went to the "vault" and retreived the Nest unit for me. Thus all took 20 minutes. Even it something is on sale at BB I will go elsewhere like Microcenter and pay a higher price!!!"
