"Best Buy employees typically do a good job helping you with your products. However that is about as far as it goes. Once you have completed a purchase from Best Buy they do not know who you are. Moreover they do not care who you are. There whole focus is making a sale and the problems you have after the purchase are not important to them. We had problems with a Samsung TV and they absolutely would be of no help. They told us their only responsibility was to sell the item. Next we had a problem with the computer we purchased. Once again we were told that they could not help us and this was an issue to be taken up with Microsoft. Called Microsoft and they said no it was an issue with Best Buy. Finally went back to the store on Memorial in Oklahoma City Oklahoma and they basically told us to shove it! Very rude and not helpful. They told us we could call their corporate office and they would do nothing about it. Had enough of this will absolutely not be purchasing anything ever from them again. We actually buy quite a bit from them and have in the past- over now. My personal thought is the Internet is giving them too much competition and so their whole focus is to sell as much as possible in hopes of trying to keep up with Internet sales. They are sweet to get you to buy an sour after your purchase."
"DO NOT buy from this company! Does not even deserve one star. Unreliable, unresponsive, irresponsible. You DO NOT want to have to deal with this kind of headache. We bought 2 fridges and a set of washer/dryer from them back in August. Paid upfront, only after the payment did they tell us that the appliances can only be delivered in October (6-7 weeks wait time). Since it was already all paid for, and they were appliances we wanted, we accepted to wait. The delivery was scheduled for Oct 2nd, and we were supposed to receive a call from Best Buy to give us a 3-hour window on the delivery day. However, they never called. So I called them, only to be transferred 3 times before someone put me on hold for 56 minutes. She then confirmed the delivery with me, but said she could not narrow down to a 3-hour window because the delivery company could not confirm that. So we had to wait all day on Oct 2nd, from 8am to 9pm (13-hour window). Oct 2nd came, no delivery, no call. We waited ALL DAY as they could not provide a window. Finally, they never came. We called and were transferred 8 times before they gave us an « escalation case number » and said someone from home delivery will call us within the next 2 days. Two days later, all we got was an email saying that they DO NOT know when we will get our appliances, and will contact us again when they have an ETA. No apology, no explanation. DO NOT buy from Best Buy unless you are looking for headaches, frustrations, and indetermined wait time!!!!
We cancelled our order. It was over $6000cad. Still waiting for our refund.
I was also told that their headquarter will contact me to discuss what happened, the call of course has not happened either. They are UNRELIABLE, and sell products they DO NOT have in stock.

"I rarely, trust me when I say rarely, comment about customer service experience. No one is answering my phone calls and I keep on getting dropped. They are incompetent. I am trying to return a refrigerator I bought online. I go to the Best Buy store in Atwater Village in Los Angeles and they say that I have to call the 888-BEST-BUY number because I bought it online. Say I call this number once I get home. I've been on hold for 1 hour so I hang up. I call up again in another 30 minutes and get put on hold for another 1 hr and 45 minutes. I give up and call the next day. The same thing happens. The representatives tell me that they'll connect me to the appliance department but can't do anything about my order. It's a simple pick up and return service which best buy (emphasize on the non-capitalization of their company because they don't deserve to be a proper noun from now on) can't even do.
UPDATE: I am still on HOLD with this annoying jingle and lady who advertises useless crap."

"How stupid I must be to make another purchase at Best Buy?
Two to three years ago I purchased a range from BB. I paid close to a thousand dollars for it. It arrived smashed. Another range by another company was sent and installed by their people. The installers destroyed my counter tops, damaged my walls, destroyed my carpet, stole one of tools, etc. Thank heaven I took pictures. Within weeks the range's surface started pealing. BB never gave me an invoice meaning I could not register the range , thus no warranty. BB said they would replace the second range, bit of course they never did. The head of appliances for the Southeast located here stopped accepting my calls and was not available when I went to her office. Today I still have the Range with all its pealing.
This week I purchased a new computer from BB. After I uploaded several software/programs, for which I paid, I discovered that the CD tray was faulty. You guessed it. Both BB and Lenovo gave me conflicting info. Lenovo told me one thing in their chatroom while Best Buy said something different. Tonight the Lenovo was taken to the store for an exchange and Lenovo Chatroom told me that the Geeks at Best Buy would download and upload all my software and files to a replacement and at no charge. You guessed it. The Geeks knew nothing about down and up loading of my files/software. The price was $100. Though it is defective, I still have the computer. I am now forced to purchase Best Buy’ warranty to protect my investment.

"Terrible customer service and crapy products recommended by store personnel. I bought a Google wifi system based on the recommendation of a clerk. I had such slow speed afterwards that I had my internet provider come to my house to check out my internet and then again yesterday. They gave new equipment and checked everything and said my speed was over 200. Its the Google Wifi that is causing the problem and my computer is next to the device. Best Buy won't refund my close to $300 as its outside the period of 15 days. During this time I was dealing with a broken foot and other issues and didn't realize it was the crappy product sold me and not the provider. I will never set foot in Best Buy again and I've spent a ton of money on tech things there in the past."

"I purchased a Best Buy gift card for my Mother to purchase a new cell phone. We went to our local Best Buy at 4413 Birkland Pl.
Easton, PA 18045 and were taken care of by Patrick. Everything went well with our selection and purchase until we tried to pay for the cell phone with the gift card. We were informed by Patrick that we could not purchase a cell phone with a gift card. I checked the gift card and there were no such restrictions listed. I do find it hard to believe Best Buy would place such restrictions on their gift cards, but Patrick checked with a supervisor who said the same. I was going to make the purchase with my debit card and then decided not to spend my money at Best Buy. We left and purchased the same phone at WalMart. Unfortunately I now have a Best Buy gift card that I really don't want."
"Associate recommended Jaybird X 2, bought warranty, after one year of use they are defective and will not pair. This product is inferior & has no longevity despite it being expensive. After sales service was appalling, both Best Buy and Jaybird refused to replace, explaining they are only expected to last 2 years!!,At that price!! They are only interested in taking more of your money. Avoid Jaybird at all costs, brand needs to be reported as overexpensive, inferior products. I'm reverting back to Bose, traditional wires! "
"Twice we waited all day for the very expensive instillation service Best Buys has you pay for @ $150.00. They had no way of finding out why the company that told us twice they would be at our home in the AM to install a dishwasher we purchased hadn't even contacted us by 4PM!! "I ordered a mini refrigerator for my dorm room on Tuesday (08/28/2018). I needed it ASAP but it was only available for pickup on Saturday (09/01/2018). I went ahead and paid for it, ordered it online, and waited patiently for an email saying my order was ready for pickup. Well Saturday came and I never received an email. I had to log back into the account to check my status and it still says “In progress”!!! I reached out to the store and they said they aren’t sure why but it now says the date to pick up wouldn’t be until 09/06! That’s almost 2 weeks longer than I was told! I was furious and had to cancel my order, which ended up putting me in a bind for another refrigerator because the money didn’t show back on my account until 7 days later! No one ever offered me a discounted price for the inconvenience, no gift card, or any sympathy. Oh and not to mention the hassle it was to get someone on the phone!! They hung up on me 3 times! Sorry Best Buy.. you’ve definitely lost my service!"
