"Where to begin, took 3 days longer than they said. Didn't do a thing to correct the stated problem. Lost data that they ASSURED me would not be lost. Forgot to call when they had completed the work. The "manager" had no answers to my questions, did not know what resources were available to him and rather than say is was unsure, attempted to BS his way out of it. This is just one more reason that Best Buy will continue to spiral out of the realm of profitability. Online sales, loss of mobile stores, departure of mobile phone contracts and lack of new technical inventory will be very painful for Mr. Joly to overcome. Add poor service and improperly trained management ( Jake from Colerain, Ohio) and you have the perfect storm. My advice, google computer repair and add your zip code. There are highly qualified and very affordable options out there waiting for a chance to EARN your business. "

"Bought a 55" tv. Sound started cutting out then picture started cutting out. I purchased a 2yr warranty for the tv. Only had the tv for 4 months. When I brought the tv in for a exchange, I was told that there warranty does not include exchange. "That the warranty was for there weak... very weak geak squad bull crap". When I purchased the warranty I was told that " ANY PROBLEM WITH THE TV, I COULD EXCHANGE IT FOR A PROPER WORKING TV". That wasn't the case though. I would have to schedule for someone from geek squad to come to my house (5 days later). Then if they found a issue w the TV, then I could replace it ( another 2 weeks). I've purchased many items from best buy over a 25 yr period. NEVER AGAIN!! I will go to Wal-Mart from now on to make my electronic purchases, were they honor a return policy if a extended warranty is purchased. Best buys service has been going down hill ever since there adding of the geek squad to stores. So now I'm stuck with a tv that's 5 months old and ever day the sound constantly cuts out and picture cuts out periodically. Be careful if you think about purchasing the warranty, cause it's not worth the extra money. Plus the sales person will lie to your face about how the warranty works. I can't express enough about sickening I am about what best buy has become. BUYER BEWARE!!"

He was awesome. He explained computers in a way I could understand, didn't make me feel stupid, and I was able make an educated purchase. I really enjoyed this buying experience. 5 - Stars for sure!"
"I bought $1700 worth of stereo equipment for my cars and scheduled an install. The installs would cost just under $500. I have $2500 limit on my credit card, so no problem. Next day, I decide to exchange a $700 part for another $700 part, no problem. Another day later, I try to buy install parts for $300. No go because Best Buy charged my card $1700 and $700 the day of purchase and exchange, but gave no credit for $700 exchange. I have 4 more days before install so I waited for my credit. 7 days pass and still no credit. I call customer service and they say they take 30 days to credit my account for exchange. They charge my card the instant I purchase but a credit for exchange takes 30 days. I can't buy install parts so I cancel the install. I only have 14 days to return stereos and no way to install them. So, I returned $1700 stereos as well. Best Buy is a waste of time.

He continued his speech and than gave me an additional 10 dollar card, when he asked if I had electric and gas. He asked me to sign a contract with NRG . "Best Buy should not be allowed in business online. They screwed up my first online order and delivery date by canceling without telling me, although I signed up for text messaging communication and they have already contacted me to confirm the order - this was a $2,500 order of a refrigerator, microwave and range... AND I had people working at home ready to install everything. I moved on quickly and, unfortunately, decided to reorder everything, including installation fees this time as my place is getting photographed for sale... well, guess what, my over-the-range microwave didn't arrive leaving an ugly, huge gap in my kitchen. My husband spent 2 hours on the phone with customer service who weren't able to locate the missing piece... We ended up having to go to store to pick it up and paid someone a rush, evening fee of $380 to install. Then I tried to cancel the duplicate order online and - shocking - I couldn't.... It was simply not an option. To my surprise, someone answered the live chat and seemed to want to help, but after several minutes and back and forth courteous chatting, directed me to the customer service number (where we already spent 2 frustrating and unsuccessful hours!!!) to cancel the order the next day because he couldn't do anything on his end... I wonder... How, HOW??!!!???!!! Are these people in business....???!!!! incredible. Never again!!!"
"Never Enroll In Any Subscription with Best Buy - they will refuse to cancel your subscription, will not let you escalate the call to a supervisor under any circumstances. Do yourself a favor and avoid Best Buy."
"Ordered a washer dryer set. Gets delivered and I mistakenly order the electric dryer. I was advised by the driver that allowing them to take the incorrect dryer back would be the best bet, so I agreed. They took my old washer and left the new one. I was also told that I could not process the exchange for 24 hours because the order was "locked". Following day I call Best Buy to process the exchange and they tell me I need to cancel my original order and place a new one for the gas version of the dryer... ok. Four transfers later I am finally transfer to sales and they tell me they cannot honor the sale price because I ordered the wrong one?!? After an hour of holding and talking to a manager, they still wont honor my price and want me to pay $250 more for the same product. Because "policy" says they cant and they have "no way" to verify the sales price! IT IS ONLINE AT THAT PRICE!!!!!! Per the Customer Service Manager, online advertising is not accurate and Google cannot be trusted!! Please for your sake, don't get anything from this company. I promise you will regret it.

"I bought a tv 5 years ago when Best Buy was still future shop but had to return for a little smaller one because it didn’t fit above the corner fire place. I purchased the extended warranty through future shop on on both TVs. When I went into Best Buy to use the warranty I was told they couldn’t find any proof of the sale. So I brought the box it came in down to the store and they scanned it and said it had come from the store but they couldn’t find the receipt. I had it escalated to higher up and got the same response. Now that the 4 years is up magically they can find the receipt but claim it had no warranty. So they won’t do anything about it. Never buy extended warranty from Best Buy and definitely never pay for geek squad but that’s a whole nother complaint. Scam artists and liars are what they are!!"

"I bought a set of headphones for my wife who was going on a business trip. When I paid, the clerk asked me if I wanted receipt or have it emailed.
I asked him to email to save the paper. Shame on me for not reviewing the email! My wife did not like the headphones so I took them back when she returned from her trip. Still in the box as new and unused, I didn't think that there would be any problem. I went back to the store and stood in line for about 25 minutes. The clerk checked over everything and seemed satisfied that they were unused. He then looked at my email receipt and told me that it had been past their 14 day return policy! 14 days!!! He said there was nothing he could do and "sorry, have a nice day". That was the last experience that I will have with them. "
