"Frankly I expected better from this company after trying to return a replacement cell phone battery that lasted about 18 days in my phone. First I went to the store where a very helpful person apologized and told me they could not take it back because it was purchased online but call customer service and they would be more than glad to help me. They weren't. More apologies but no battery. Told to call manufacturer. How about just issuing me an RPO. I send it back and you send me a new one. Nope!! Against their policy. Will not buy from them again after this run around. Of course, everyone was very apologetic. Stand by what you sell........period."
"Best Buy, Hurst, TX. Order small freezer online. Did not pay for delivery because I wanted to get my own delivery person who would bring the freezer in the room in which i wanted it. Online order said it was being processed and would be available for pickup on Feb 7. February 7, prior before going to the store to pickup I called the store to confirm. Yes, they said it's here for pickup. I get to the store with my guys who were to delivery it to my home and was tolf by BB that it would take 30 minutes to inventory it in (whatever that means). I hated making my pickup guys waiting so I asked if there was anyway they could rush it. Yes, they said rather than inventoring it in that they could cancel the online order and ring up a new order. They cancelled the order and rang up a new one. Clost to a hour later they bring a 7 cf freezer to the entrance of the store to load in my guys truck. It's not unusual to get appliances in the boxes and get them home to find damages so when I called previously I asked if I could take the freezer out of the box to inspect for damages. Sure, they said. But when I get to the store they say they won't load it if the ox is opened. So I decided I'd take my chances and they loaded the freezer in the truck. I looked at the box and it's the wrong damned freezer. I lost it at that point. Took them to get it outta the truck. My guys had been waiting over and hour and I paid them the $60 I'd promised. It was not their fault so I felt it only right to pay them. So I'm out $60 and no freezer. I'll NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH BB AGAIN.

"I tried to return an amazon kindle (bought online and unopened). According to the manager I was "way past" the return period... apparently I missed it by two weeks. However, he was able to make an "exception" by giving me store credit but wouldn't give me a refund. What a bunch of BS. I likely would have continued to spend thousands of dollars at best buy over my lifetime had they been able to use common sense and provide good customer service. Too bad... may as well buy from Amazon. "
"On may 7,3016 I purchased a pIoneer AVH4200NEX for $638 and had it professionally installed by Best Buy. In December of 2017 the radio began to just turn off and on on its own. We took it back to Best Buy where we were told the radio is defective and to contact pioneer. I contacted pioneer and was told there was nothing they could do. When I said that I was going to start writing customer reviews they offered to open a car for me which was closed one week later with an I’m sorry ur product is 6 months past our warranty, go buy a new one. After trying to speak with the store and being hung up on because I asked to speak with a manager I called the corporate office. The corporate office tells you that u have to speak the store. No one at Best Buy is concerned with any form of customer service. Their store refused to do anything.

"Bought dishwasher. Installation guy sat in our driveway, called on the phone and when we didn't answer, left without knocking on the door. Best Buy contracts with another company to sell appliances, and when that company, located inside the BB store, called to reschedule I told him we wouldn't accept installation from that company that stood us up (xbo). He said fine, he'd schedule us with he other company they use, and when I asked what it was , it was xbo, and I said that he seemed as incompetent as the installation company, and he got angry and said he wouldn't stand for being called incompetent, and was cancelling my order and I could buy it from HH Gregg. OK then. I think I escaped. Now we'll see if they take it off our credit card. AVOID THIS STORE!"
"I ordered a game console for in-store pick up at Paramus, NJ. Here's what happened:
1. Item was not ready in store when promised. I had to find out that it was not ready myself, by going to the store.
2. They placed a new order to be shipped. Later on, I noticed that they put in the wrong shipping address
3. I called customer service to change shipping address. Nobody, including a supervisor, was able to - and more annoyingly- willing to change the shipping address even though the item was not shipped yet. For about 5 min, I had to hear the same story from the representative and her supervisor that their system does not allow for any change and there is nothing they can do about it. The box is sitting somewhere in a Best Buy facility and apparently, nobody has the willingness and/or authority to make a few phone calls and override the address.
OVERALL: ONE OF THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I'VE DEALT WITH! "

price matched ....he said yes....I gave him Amazon info. Salesman said they would not price match because seller
was not Amazon...but a "3rd party" supplier. Sales person told me to get on BB web site for exceptions/policies.
I stopped buy "Customer Service" desk to relay & confirm what salesman had told me. Service Person confirmed
price match policy. said that " if I did not like it...take it up with corporate". I drove back home (24 miles round trip)
and ordered Sound bar from Amazon. NOTE: Visio SB was on sale @ BB $179.95....there were 4 offers on Amazon
for $140.00 or less with free freight. BB price match is very selective & limited. Customers are smart and will see this as selective competition and not true market place conditions. Look up the many exclusions on BB web site."
"I called to renew my security on my home PC. My web-root expired on 12/17/2018. As I went through the purchase process I was told that since my service had originally expired on 12/17/2017 that when I renewed my service toady 01/20/2018 that my new 11 year of service will actually expire on 12/17/2018. I tried to explain that this in NOT ONE YEAR! But, the company told me that they could not do anything about it. This company is horrible. DO NOT DO Business with them!!! I told them that after this contract of 11 months and 10 days is up I will never ever be back to this place for buying anything. My question to them was this... What if I had an original expiration date of September of 2017? Would it mean that my new one year of service would be over in September of 2018... taking almost 4 months away from my one year contract. This policy should be in black and white so the consumer would know that since they let their service expire that they would only get coverage retrofitted to the expiration date of the last service. The tech team kept making me repeat myself, the billing department personnel voice was muffled and I could hardly hear them... It by far was probably the worse experience I have endured buying anything. I got an email saying I had updated but no invoice number was given. Do not do business with this company their business aspect seems shady and you cannot get anything done about your concerns. If they can change an expiration date to one year from the date of purchase then how are they going to fix any technical issues that arise elsewise? My PC did not show any time after 12/17/17 that coverage continued. This was a mess and it took up an hour of my day!!!! Stay away"
"Purchased Geek Squad coverage which has been okay so far. The issue is in trying to communicate with Best Buy or geek squad. I noticed the address and information they had listed on our accounts was incorrect I attempted to fix this along with some other information and attempted to get an update on a product we were shipping. The app did not work so I called. It took me over two hours I was disconnected each time I was transferred. The direct line into the store transferred me back to a large call center where nobody knew what was going on; I was transferred all over creation and disconnected each time and still have no resolution to either of the issues I will end up just driving into the store to stand in line to correct the account and get an update on the issue. This is ridiculous for what should be a tech service. "

"Purchased 2 RCA Tablets and 2 year warranty against breaks (dropping) or spills and everything else. The 1 year warranty for $20 didn't cover enough, the 2 year was $30. Took 1 Tablet in with a cracked screen, they replaced it and then said the Warranty was fulfilled. After just 1 week of having the warranty. They don't tell you that when you purchase the warranty, if they can't fix it and replace it the warranty is done. Was told it was in the email they sent me. Took them 30+ minutes to find it in the email and show it to me. Don't buy the warranty without finding out all about it. "

"Purchased a new printer from the Best Buy in GulfPort, Ms. Had problems installing. No one would help me setting up. All numbers given where to the Geek Club and they wanted to drill me another A.. Hole with the price of helping me. No customer service on there products what so ever. Do business with American Companies that back there product with service. Stay away from Best Buy!!!!! "
