"I placed a $4600.00 order with Best Buy, they gave me a delivery date for the new T.V. & all seemed good.
The next day they send an email saying the T.V. mount will be delayed, ok things happen. The next with in 1 minute of two of the items in this order were delivered, they sent an email & said the delivery date would have to be changed with no explanation. Best Buyhas taken this approach since they hit a lull, they will advertise availability & once the order has been billed or partially delivered they change the delivery to fit their needs, or they dont have availability & tell you that they do so you will place the order. Sad state of affairs for what used to be a decent company! I will never make another purchase of any kind from Best Buy! I have been a Platinum member for the last 8 years, way to chase your loyal customers away."
"We took exact home measurement to Best Buy and a sales representative helped us choose a refrigerator model that would fit through the doors in our home. First scheduled delivery: a large truck arrived and we were told they could not put down their lift because we live on a cobblestone street and a hill. (we have lived here 35 years and that has never been a delivery problem before). Second scheduled 4- hour- window delivery with a smaller truck: no truck came and we were not called. Later that evening an email arrived saying our item was on a truck and would be delivered at 1:45 a.m. (That, of course, did not happen). Third scheduled 4-hour-window delivery: no truck came. Phone call at 8:30 p.m. saying they could deliver between 9:30 and 10:30 that evening (we declined). Fourth scheduled delivery: truck came and the delivery team quickly determined that there was no way the new refrigerator, even with the doors removed, could fit through the door of our house into the kitchen. We were told to decline the delivery, contact the store and "start over"!! At that point we had been without a refrigerator for over three weeks, when we have been promised delivery within 5 days after our purchase.
I spoke with the manager of the appliance section and the manager of the Northgate store, asking for some compensation for the loss (over three weeks) of all our refrigerated food and our time. We asked for a Best Buy Gift Certificate and were told a manger would get back to us in several days. When we were called back, the manager said they could not give us any compensation for our experience unless we bought another refrigerator from Best Buy. That was not going to happen!
From there we called a corporate manager about our experience, He too said Best Buy could not give us any compensation unless we purchased another refrigerator.
Very very bad experience with this store. Does not ever deserve one star.

Best buy should invest more in training front of the house employees who interact with end users. Very unprofessional service. I am never going back there again. "Wife purchased me a gift for my Birthday. So disappointed she did business with this company as I asked her never to do so from past experiences. She bought the gift 10 days before my Birthday. I received it and determine that I would not work with my car a few days later. I went to return it unopened and with a receipt. They refused to give me a refund sighting I was 7 days past their 15 day allowance. Called customer service and got a third party service from another country that refused to get me in contact with Best Buy Corporate. They were rude and spent the entire time telling me what they could not do. Worthless, absolutely worthless.
Please please do not trust your hard earn dollars to this store. I recommend you purchase from Amazon as they provide customer service and and are good at taking care of the customer. "

"I'm done with Best Buy. I'm not going to go into my story. Bottom line, the return policy is ridiculous! A defective product should not be a question. The software is set up so that the product cannot be returned to your credit card and not even a manager can override it. I called customer service...same story...so now I am calling the manufacturer to see if there is anything they can do. "I have spent tens of thousands of dollars with best buy but this will definitely be my last purchase. I ordered a washer and dryer on Feb 13th. I received the washer on March 1st and after 15 phonecalls and 4 appointments to have the dryer delivered it will supposedly be delivered on March 13th-1 MONTH LATER. AND NO ONE HAS CARED TO CALL ME TO UPDATE ME ON ANYTHING. I HAVE HAD TO CALL EVERYTIME JUST TO GET TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND 10 DIFFERENT STORIES/LIES ABOUT WHERE MY DRYER IS OR WHEN I WILL GET IT. "BB sold me a vacuum that worked for 3 months. I bought into their protection plan and returned said item to find out the item is discontinued. They don't have anything in stock that is of similar quality so I end up paying more money AND buying another protection plan... males no sense. Howe many protection plans do you need? Muy initial was for 2 years, I shouldn't have to buy anther. If you don't have my vacuum, them upgrade mine to a better one for $20.00 at your loss, not mine. I will do no Mollie shopping here ever. "In January I bought a bob-o-sweep pet vacuum, it did not work, I had no idea about the 15 day return policy for online purchases, We had just moved in to our house so I didn't even open the box for approx 3 weeks. We try to use it, it keeps going over the same spot, won't even go onto any of our area rugs, and when we place it onto an area rug, it won't move at all. I just called their online customer service - WHAT A JOKE! I told the agent what the issue was. She said there's nothing we can do to help you. I asked to speak to a supervisor. She transferred me to another agent. Told her the issue, asked to speak to a supervisor, she said she had to wait for one to be free (on hold again for at least 30 minutes). Supervisor came over and advised to transfer me again - really? Once transferred explained for a third time my issue, she said that she will transfer me to a store closer to me. An employee answers and places me on hold for another long period of time. Another employee answers (not a manager) and I ask him to let me speak to the store manager. The store manager answered (his -Luis' tone was as though he hates his job), but says go ahead and bring it in and exchange for a vacuum at same or Greater value. I said you mean "lesser value?" He says no greater value - WOW, LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL!! MIND YOU, THROUGHOUT THIS ENTIRE EXPERIENCE I WAS NOT ASKING FOR A REFUND, I WAS ASKING FOR AN IN STORE CREDIT TO GO TOWARDS A VACUUM THAT WOULD WORK FOR WHAT I NEED IT TO. To be transparent on my part I let him know I do not have the original box...womp, womp, womp..he said he needs that. Then looks up the vacuum I bought and says I cannot exchange this vacuum because it is only sold online. At this point I am so flustered because I had been on the phone for about 1.5 hours, transferred 4 times, explained myself 4 times, and still got nothing resolved. So here is the moral for any future best buy online buyers:
They don't care about their customers.
DONT BUY A BOB-O-SWEEP ROBOT VACUUM, IT DOESNT DO WHAT IT SAYS IT WILL!
IF you purchase online through best buy make sure it is sold in stores as well, so that if all else fails you can go to the store for help.
Buyer beware all the way around.
Who in the hell only gives a 15 day return policy. Most places are at least 90 days, (and I was within that NORMAL time frame)
Hope this helps someone, so they don't have to go through this same thing.

Two days before the delivery day, they wanted to reschedule the delivery for a later day, in 10 days!!!!
I cancelled the order right away.
