"This was my second purchase from Bestbyte. Their prices are good enough that I decided to give them a 2nd chance. (The 1st time they were slow and got one item slightly wrong: 24inch IDE cable rather than 18inch which was ordered.) This time the order was 100% correct. "I've ordered from BestByte a couple times now and each time I am extremely satisfied, especially this last time. BestByte is great for all the little things(fans, heatsinks, thermal compunds). They don't overcharge on shipping like some of their competitors do. That's a great thing and it shows they don't think their customers are fools. Yes, BestByte's shipping takes some patience, but that's fine for me. Just don't order something you're going to need in 3 days and you won't be disapoointed. They have low shipping costs and the trade off is a few extra days to get your items, I like it.

When making an order, let them know you're a return customer or a new customer, that's why the comment box is on the order form. If you're new, let them know how you found out about them. If you're a return customer, tell them about how your last order went with them. People always complain about bad service and never acknowledge that there are also bad customers.

BestByte could probably work on their communication skills. Once I tried calling for 2 days to try and add something to my order, but calls to both numbers they have listed along with messages on their voice mail proved useless. I am willing to overlook it because they have never made a mistake with my orders.

I always recommend bestbyte to friends who are experienced online buyers and not to first time buyers until bestbyte starts answering the phone.

"I ordered a tube of Arctic Silver 3 from these guys. While not the fastest in the world on shipping (7 days), they certainly made up for any lack of speed with an eye popping price on the item that I wanted. Packing was minimal, but good enough. Good job guys!"

"They have a good selection of products and good pricing, but their shipping is the worst I've ever seen. I made an order a week ago and it hasn't even shipped yet. Nobody ever answers the toll free number listed on the site. I ordered something last year and had the same problems. I was able to talk to the owner then and it was shipped the next day. I can understand it happening once, but multiple times is unacceptable."

"I ordered a couple of fans and a heatsink, all of which were in stock on their website, on a Monday. It is now Friday and I have not heard a word from them, but they have charged my credit card.

I've tried checking the order status online, but that was no help. I've also tried calling about five or six times, but no one has answered. I decided to send them an e-mail inquiring about my order, and received no reply to that, either.

Finally, someone answered my call ("Barry"). I mentioned that I had sent an e-mail, and he said that they don't respond to e-mails checking on order status because there are just too many. Well, if they had a better order status page, maybe they wouldn't have that problem. Also, maybe they should note on their website that they do not respond to order inquiries received via e-mail.

Anyway, Barry said that there was a delay filling my order because they were waiting for the heatsink to get to their warehouse. Apparently, it was “in stock”, just not at the warehouse. (?) He said it was at another location a couple of miles away. Well, send someone to get it!

I decided to order from these guys because their prices are good, and so were the reviews I read. I don’t know if I’ll order from them in the future, though. At least when newegg delayed my order, they volunteered to waive my original shipping ($20) and upgraded me to FedEx OVERNIGHT!!!

Each time they have had the best prices on things like round IDE/floppy cables, Arctic Silver 3, and northbridge heatsinks also you can often get free or very cheap prices on shipping so your small inexpensive orders stay that way. "I am a VERY satisfied returning customer. I like this company because they ship everything on time and it's always good quality.

I ordered a tri-color neon light on the 28th and it was shipped shortly after. I love the ease of purchasing from them. The owner on the phone is very courteous and he shipped my neon immediately after I called him and asked him if it could ship on that day. He sent me a tracking number within 15 minutes of my call.
