"I ordered a few small parts from Best Byte on-line for $36.44 including shipping at 9:45pm. At 9:50pm I sent an email cancelling the order. I also called them at 7:00 am the following morning to ensure they did not ship the order.

I had to leave phone messages on two different numbers provided on their web site (one number was supposed to be the "owners" number). No one ever responded to my email or phone messages and FEDex showed up three days later at my house with a package from BestByte.

I refused deliver and best byte attempted to charge me $14 for my trouble. I will have American Express charge this back to them as they were unresponsive.

DO NOT BUY FROM BESTBYTE!!

"Was a little worried at first with ordering from them when i read about the screw ups but I got to say bestbyte.net is awesome. Got everything I odered and I got it in 2 days using Fed Express 3rd day. So I got it early. Pretty Good chance i might order from them again."

"Ordered a blue LED case fan. Received items in a week by postal mail. Everything happened in an orderly fashion (order confirmation within an hour, shipping confirmation within two days, received product two days later), so I had no need for customer service. Like others, my product was shipped without an invoice. They take PayPal as a payment option, and that is fantastic in my book.

Their prices are reasonable, with shipping, so I may keep them in mind again for small $$$ purchases.

"I ordered 6 blue LED fans and 1 Sony floppy drive.

What I received was 2 blue LED fans, 4 green LED fans, and a Mitsumi floppy drive. Not exactly what I ordered.

I don't know what went wrong with my order but there is no way for me to find out. I have tried to email and phone Best Byte but they have not responded.

It has been a few weeks and I have not heard from them. I am stuck with what they had sent me.

I can make use of all the items I received but I will no longer be making purchases from Best Byte.

BE WARNED, Best Byte has bad customer service and a purchase from them may be a gamble.

"I bought a whole bunch of fans and fan grills and lights to mod out my new case. I ordered my case from another store on the same day. Both orders were to be shipped "ground". A week later, I had my case. A week after that I had my best-byte order. They are slow. But, my stuff all arived in good working order. They also sold me everything at an un-beatable price. I'l shop there again."

"purchased a Hard Disk Cooler but the battery is not working. It supposed to have a battery saver attached so the battery is not running out. The received package don't have the battery saver and battery is dead. I know a battery is cheap but without it, the cooler is not functioning. I send them emails and online messages without any response. The voice mail is always full when u call them. "

"I ordered a Zalman heat sink & fan for my AMD system. It was my fault that the heat sink doesn't fit Athlon XP systems, but BestByte was totally unresponsive to two phone messages. The third call said their answering machine was full. They didn't respond to two emails and they didn't respond to two submitted online forms.

Zero customer service isn't good enough.

"Competitive prices coupled with cheap shipping (flat rate ground) brought me back here a few times in the past couple years for orders > $50. Unfortunately, untimely and inconsistent proprietor correspondence exacerbated by a recently discovered, unmentioned cancellation policy by which the company charges you 8% of the total cost for cancelling before the order is even close to shipping compels me to shop elsewhere for future purchases."

"Ordered 5 LED fans, 2 Cold cathode light, and X-Panel II Light Control Center. Items came fast via Priority Mail. Great prices on the merchandise. Order was sent correctly and all items arrived without any damage. Shipping was cheap and not overinflated. You can always upgrade shipping service if you need the items faster.
