"I placed an order for a Canon Digital Rebel XT. The price I received online was $944.00 but they billed me 1385.00. When I call the salesperson he hung up on me when I told him I wanted to return it. He also told me I had requested upgrades which was totally untrue.
I would never purchase anything else from them. By the way I have called there customer service several times and have stayed on hold as long as 2 hours without anyone answering the phone.
BEWARE!"
"Ordered, Called to see if they have the merchandise ready to ship; They told me to wait on phone for another 30 minutes; they transferred the phone without telling me; went to answering machine; No response, no answer. "
"DELIVERY ESTIMATED IN 2 WEEKS AT TIME OF ORDER. CALLED 1-4-06 AND THEY SAID IT WOULD BE 9 WEEKS BEFORE SHIPMENT. THE ITEM ORDERED IS IN STOCK AT NUMEROUS DEALERS ON THE INTERNET. I BELIEVE THIS COMPANY IS NOT REPUTABLE AND SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO SELL ON THE INTERNET."
"The company did a bait and switch, advertsing a camera for $429 on a google ad, but then informing me I needed a battery, for which there were two options - (there just happened to be a sale) $78 for a two-hour battery, $108 for a four-hour battery (yes, I should have stopped things there, but $429+108= 537 was still an acceptable price to me, and I did confirm with the sales person on the phone that this would be the price). Unfortunately, when it arrived, the invoice was for $629 (before shipping). After complaining, the company did give me a generic 3 year warranty on the item, but nevertheless, a totally unsatisfying experience. Lesson, stay with known and trustwothy merchants."
"Avoid this seller at all costs! Not only is their advertising misleading, they will charge you far more than the advertised price, and then send you a gray market item!"
"Received email confirmation. As requested in email, called in for final approval. The man answered phone said "call back in 2-3 weeks" reason "backorder" eventhough it is said "in stock" on their web site."
"I placed an order for a Canon 20D package #7 for around $1300.00. Looked like a great deal, 2 lenses, 512MB memory card, etc. Then I received an email from their customer service stating they need me to call to confirm, my order. During the call I was told that the package didn't include the battery or charger ($149.00) or a US Warranty ($249.00). If the camera came in the box as it came from Canon, it woukd have had both. This is a obvious case of bait and switch as the seler removes what should be included from Canon and sells it back to you. Needless to say, I canceled the order."
"Very poor customer services. Just let customer wait on th ephone for more than 1 hour and repeat the order # mor ethan five times. After that, they just said your order has been cancelled and never notice me. Very very bad. Don't try to buy stuff here."
"This place did not place my order for 5 days with no contact. When I called them they tried to sell me lots of extras and extended warrenties. When I told them I just wanted what I ordered, they gave me a sarcastic comment and told me shipping would take 6-8 weeks. I said the stated they had it in stock and I paid 30 bucks for UPS ground. He said yeah it comes from hong kong or some something like that. Avoid using this company they are shady and shouldnt even be doing business. Hey jokers I can order a camera from Cannon, I ordered it though you cause I want it before 2 months...What a joke!"
"This the worst online transaction I've ever made. The website doesn't list the products as OME. The cameras are not complete. After you purchase, you're informed you need to buy the battery which is a minimum charge of $150. They downgraded my camera purchase. I didn't realize this is what the man said he was going to do. I thought we where getting the Sony DCR-DVD403 cameral kit #2. Which is the exact same price we paid $739. I also paid $60 for overnight shipping. I was guaranteed it would be here the next day for my son's 1st Christmas program. It didn't come until the day after so we DIDn't get overnight shipping. They are very difficult to get hold of by phone. They provide no contact info in their emails. We are sending the camera back unopened because it's not what we want, but we still have to pay them a 10% restocking fee and the $60 for overnight shipping. We are not happy at all. There is no logic but their own. They are always right. There is no such thing as customer service here. Oh yeah, they give you a customer service # and when you call it, they give you another customer service number to call. They don't return calls when you leave messages either. Stay away from these buisnesses. They have many names but it's all the same place, same people. "
"After reading the reviews on this site I realize I am not alone in my experience with them. I wish I had read these before! They are operating the same bad business under 3 different names and scamming unsuspecting people. I ordered an expensive digital camera from them twice(thinking it was 2 seperate companies), never received either!!! Horrible company who needs to be shut down. Customer service is the worst I have ever encountered! Any company that makes you call to confirm an order after placing on online order is not a reputable company because they will try to get you to buy more stuff and treat you like crap if you don't! They told me it would take 4-6 weeks if I didn't buy a warrenty...why?? I just can't believe this site is stil in business!

"Why doesn't someone complain to or sue this company's advertising vehicles - Google.com, Yahoo.com etc? Surely they are aware of these terrible business practices. This wouldn't continue for long on your local TV or newspapers."

These forms are easy to fill out, I have already done so for my case. PLEASE do the same for your situation. It's important that these agencies realize the overwhelming size of these complaints. I'm sure they aren't on this site looking for things to investigate.
Also, there are even MORE reviews for this same company right here on ResellerRatings. http://www.resellerratings.com/seller9662.html
If these were combined, you would get a good overall view of this company's business practices. "
"Best Price Cameras -- Canon SD450 was advertised on their Internet site for $245. I placed an order, but had to call salesman before they would ship. Saleman offered several optional accessories all of which I refused except for an extra battery. (It turns out that he lied about the battery that comes with the camera. He told me it was only a 15 minute battery & I should buy a 4 hour battery. In fact, the battery Canon ships is a 4 hour battery and the extra battery he sold me for $69 is not even a Canon.) But even accepting the battery, my charges should have been $249 + $69 + $15 shipping. Camera arrived and I was billed $405 and bill showed "Starter Package Deal." When I called Customer Service, I waited on hold for 10 minutes. When they answered they transferred me to Billing where I waited again for 10 minutes. When John finally spoke with me, he said I had requested the "upgrade." That the camera as advertised did not come with anything but the camera body -- no cables, software, documentation, etc. When I tried to argue that I did not authorize an upgrade, he threatened to put me on hold for another 10 minutes. Canon does not package or sell this camera without the cables, software, documentation. Chris, the salesman, never offered an upgrade. The only extra charge we discussed was the $69 battery. This company makes a point of putting very little in writing or email so it is difficult to anticipate this scam or challenge the charges. I obviously should have done a search on this company before doing business with them, as since this happened I have found similar complaints about them on bulletin boards. My bill should be adjusted to $333. I could have bought this camera online for less than $300 and the non-OEM battery they sold me for $15. But I would be satisfied with what I agreed to."
"Don't buy from this company they are crooks. I ordered a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ30S, best price on the internet I could find. They send e-mail to call them to confirm, I knew that they wanted to sell me more items so I told them just to process the order. They called next day and my wife answered and tried to sell her a warranty, case, battries, insurance because if it gets there broken they would not replace it. I arrived home just in time to take the call, he says they can't deliver for 4 to 8 weeks and I told them to cancel the order. I checked my credit card and they had not carged it yet but am going to check it again after reading all the very bad reports of this outift. Please don't buy from them, wish I had read Resellerratings.com befoe buying."
