"I was lied to! Billed for items I didn't want under false pretense and customer service is worthless. I am extremely unhappy and wish to warn everybody that this is a bogus outfit. I want to send this back but they are threatening a 17% restocking fee when the invoice calls for 5%.
these are the kinds of lies. Don't let them talk you into things with bogus lies. Bad, Bad deal. Cost me over $100.00 dumb for my mistake.

"Buyer Beware: I was promised delivery of a Sony digital camera on or before 12/09/03. When I attempted to track the shipment, I am eventually told that the camera will not ship for 4-6 more weeks. So I cancelled the order.
When I get my credit card statement, I find that all of the charges were applied on 12/03/03 - the day the order was placed. E-mail from the company states that charges will be reversed within 72 hours. Now, 9 days after the cancellation, I have had no success in getting the charges reversed. I will hope that MasterCard can intervene on my behalf.
I had previously purchased items from Broadway Photo; however, I will NEVER make that mistake again.

"Do not use this company. I ordered a nikon 3100 on December 4. on the 5th they emailed me to call them, where they wanted to sell accessories. I told them just the camera. On the 5th I received an order confirmation that I could check the progress on their site. that site said the order was processed and sent to the warehouse, would be shipped within 2 or 3 days. On the 15th I called since it was not charged to my credit card yet and they had not processed the order yet, not done anything with it. The person they put on as a manager could not explain or help with anything. I canceled as there was no time left before traveling."

"Price was cheaper than any other mail order. However, customer service was like dealing with some thugs in a ghetto. Aside from their company policy of charging a "restock fee" for returns, higher price than the web price for exchange products, the customer service person treated me with disrespect and condecending attitude that was hard to take. I would never shop from them again."

"Tried to order got the usual 'it's in stock it's not in stock' runaround. The hard sell for exceptionally high priced accessories and warranties. Was promised the Fuji S2 would ship in 3 days. Now after 5 months and several calls in which I was lied to by these scum, I still never received the camera. But I did buy one from someone else. Was never billed by DL so at least all they stole from me was my time. This scam company needs to be out of business.

"This company is the worst Internet company I have ever attempted to purchase from in the last 5 years. When I ordered, I was asked to call and confirm the order. When I called, the salesperson began pushing batteries and recharge packs, and I said I didn't want any. He then asked, "how are you going to use the camera." I didn't see how it should matter to him, so I calmly replied, "none of your business." He became very upset, told me that my order was cancelled, and hung up on me. I called back, talked to another sales rep who told me that the first person had essentially "black balled" me. I got back to the first person, who argued with me, said that I was rude and cursed him (which was absolutely not true), and then finally confirmed and processed my order. As of now, I do not know if my order is really processed or not. We'll see."

"I have never had such a horrible experience shopping online until now. I recently attempted to purchase a camera from Digital Liquidators after doing a month of research by trying to find the best price for my money. I eventually came across their website to find that my camera was about 30 dollars cheaper by base price compared to any other site.
I purchased the camera thinking it would already be in the mail by now, but little did I know their ploy to harass money out of their consumers. I received an email stating that I would have to call them to verify my purchase, which was fine by me. It is Sunday today and they are closed, but for some reason I received a call from their verification department Sunday night.
It was odd, but I attempted to verify my account. The male whom I spoke to was very demanding and made me feel very uncomfortable immediately. He tried selling me a battery in addition to the one that came with my camera and kept stressing that it would be so much more expensive if I purchased it at a later time.
He stated that it would be $129 retail if I waited any longer and did this twice to make sure that I truly did not want this extra battery. At this point I was already frustrated since I expected this call to only take 2 minutes and that its sole purpose was for verification.
So I said no and the next attempt was an extra memory card which he also tried to sell me. I already purchased one last week so I said no and it was on to the warranty. He told me that I NEEDED to choose a 1, 3, or 5 year warranty in order for my camera to be shipped out. It is not stated anywhere on the site whatsoever that I needed to do this. So I said no and was somewhat irate at this point.
He insisted and kept repeating my final total without the verification even made. So this total is 40 dollars on top of what was originally stated in my checkout. They then informed that it was mandatory for a 20 insurance fee. Although this was not stated on the site, they still mislead you by saying, "We may contact you regarding adjustments to your order, including but not limited to tax and shipping which you will be informed of prior to billing." Since my purchase was not made and my credit card has still not been charged yet, it should not be considered a return so I should not have to pay the restocking fee.
They kept telling me that I was going to have to pay $25 dollars for nothing. I have to pay this company for having the worse customer service and ripoffs I have ever come across in my life? So how is this guy that is in the verification department trying to sell me extra items? So at this point I have never in my life been so angry. An argument arose between the two of us and he swore back at me which was when I hung up the phone. It’s still Sunday night. I can’t wait until they open tomorrow. I think it’s a waste of time and these people are just money grubbing. It’s not worth it to go through them!

"Didn't know about them until after I ordered. Then saw this site, next time I will do more checking. I ordered a canon a60, got the call them email, got the pushy salesman that tried to sell me more stuff, and after they promised to ship it overnight because it hadn't shipped in a week it still didn't arrive. I called them the day it was supposed to arrive and they said that it hadn't shipped yet. I told them to cancel the order. They cancelled the order and then charged my credit card anyhow. Still not sure if I will get my money back ($359.96)... Run away... Avoid this retailer at all costs..."

"Terrible experience. LYING, RUDE, PUSHY AND THEIVING. i ordered a Canon G3 from them. The salesman said I needed to order an extra battery because the one that Canon supplied would only last 10 to 15 minutes. He said he would give me a $129.00 battery for the "special" price of $79.00, but only if I ordered it then. After a little checking, I found this same after market battery available for $39.00. I called back ten minutes later to cancel the extra battery. He actually pleaded with me not to cancel. He said I should take it and send it back at their expense if I didn't want it. I cancelled anyway, and he gave me a cancellation number, but my credit card was still charged for the battery. Calling back, they denied I had cancelled the battery, said I would have to send back the entire order, including the camera, and be charged a 5 per cent restocking fee (0n a $559.00 order) and a $30.00 shipping charge. So returning the battery would cost me $68.00! What a rip off. Dishonest is what thi company is. Stay away at all costs!!!"

"First, I want to thank for the reviews, it really help me to deal with this vendor.
I ordered a Sony digital camcorder at a very attractive price (469 $ according to the website). After that I receive an email that says “In order to further verify your order #...., we will need to speak with you on the phone. Please call our processing department at 1-***-***-**** extension 253 so we may verify and process your order.”
Because I read the reviews, I knew that the guy will try to sell me something additional to my order. Finally, I accept a four-pack of tapes at a very high price (50$) plus 29.99$ shipment fee.
In conclusion, the total price was 529$ and I received my stuff in 3 days.
I could give you other details, about the fact that the site has the same address in NY with at least three other sites, the web design is the same, the track your order is a fake (it says call our sales dept.) but I think is enough.
Overall I am satisfied with the price, because the next low price was 569$ at B&H Photo (http://www.bhphotovideo.com) but not with the sale approach.

"I recently ordered a Panasonic PV-GS70 camera from digital liquidators. They tried to sell me an import version and conveniently forgot to tell me that. After that they waited 3 weeks to finally tell me (mind you I was still waiting for it). When I tried to resolve the problem, I was insulted and told to deal with it. They claim 20 years of customer service but it's surprising how they are still in business. At the end of it all the customer service rep told me that he was cancelling my order(against my will) and hung up on me. I for one will never do business again and hope that I can keep as many people away from that false advertising company."

"I say the ad in a Mag. Then I ordered. Later I say the reveiws and be came concerend, no down right worried. But the order came in 3 days and in good shape. It was a US model and I can now breeth again. If I had not read the reviews I would by from them again. And I most likly still will. Yes the do push other stuff and I did by the warranty. But I got the camera the warranty for less than I would have paid at the big box stores."
