"I ordered an item that was in stock on their website. 3 days later it was still processing. I called them (hard to find their number) to ask when it would ship. I was told that it was back ordered and they did not know when it would ship. So I cancelled the order cause I dont want to do businss with such crooks."
"Ordered Lord of the Ring Boxset with $20.00 from Google checkout. Great price at first. Over a month later still no DVDs and credit card was charged. Finally I get confirmation item has been shipped but later found out item is in a warehouse somewhere in Florida. Sitting there doing nothing and I can't cancel item since ridiculous website says it been shipped. I probably will not purchase from their company again. I would rather pay more to get the item sooner. Just doesnt make sense to run a business this way. "

Tracker say's it was received on 1/17/07. They have not offically recieved the product as of 1/30/07. Wrote customer service requesting cancel of order, and they wrote back ignoring my request.

"Have ordered 5 other items in the last 2 years all but this last one came in like 3 days. This item a, PC case, has taken 7 full days (suppose to get it tomorrow via FedEx) - not sure what causes this difference but on the whole they are pretty reliable. No other issues on those orders always a quick reply to e-mails also.

"Ordered a television from them. Shipping took a LONG time and one of the inputs does not work on the television. Not worth it to wait a month and have no TV to get it fixed. I'm definetly not satisfied with this transaction."
"I ordered a GPX KCL-8806DT Under Cabinet 7" Monitor with AMFMWB Radio in the advertisement it featured a cd player but when I recieved it upon opening and inspecting there is no cd player with this unit. I rechecked the web advertisement and it did say cd player. I requested a rma number and returned the unit as a cd player was one of the reasons I wanted this unit. After returning the unit Buy.com charged a 15% restocking fee for some thing they falsely advertised. I complained to customer support but only recieved a return policy form letter. If this is the way Buy.com's "Your
satisfaction is important to us" policy is run then I know why some states make it illegal to charge restocking fees. They will get no more of my money even if they give their stuff away.

After writing this review I decided to go a little futher and tracked down Buy.com's main office. I filed a complaint with the BBB

I contacted Customer service about price matching and they refused stating that since I used the free shipping promotion I could not use the price Match"promotion". "I placed 6 orders to buy.com this last December and the overall experience has been positive. They shipped extremely fast some of the items, all of the items were crazy cheap or even free after mail in rebate and google checkout.
On the down side I had to return 1 defective USB stick, and that was smooth, I got my money back, and I had to wait some longer then estimated for an other USB stick as they placed it on a back order.
I would definitely buy again from them, as long as they keep the low prices and fast shipping (compare to amazon.com, which still has good prices for some products but extremely slow free shipping)"

"I've done a fair amount of business with buy.com over the last six or seven years but the relationship has become strained. I received a dead power supply. Buy.com issued an RMA and a printable pre-paid UPS label, which is good. However, after they received the RMA package it took them 15 days to give a replacement power supply to UPS Ground. During this time, I repeatedly emailed customer service requesting a refund because the delay was going to cause me to lose a $40 rebate. They ignored my requests and just replied with information I already knew. I do not foresee doing any further business with buy.com.
Update: the replacement power supply has a jammed fan. The RMA process does not allow refunds for defective goods."
"Woe be to you if there are any problems with a Buy.com order. I ordered Adobe Creative Suite Premium Edition - Full Product. It said this on the web site. It said this on the order and the shipment notifications.
What they shipped was strange upgrade edition that had only two of the six products in it. After several emails, I got an RMA and returned it for replacement with the ordered product. After they got it back they cancelled the order and said they would post a refund. That was a month ago. No refund and no answer on their customer service telephone number. I am back in email hell trying to get my money back."
