"Order cancelled without notice. I've seen this happen 5 times in the last 6 months.

My last order from Buy.com

DO NOT buy anything from them. They are just commiting fraud, trying to attract customers by advertising at low prices and then cancelling orders. They cancel the hot deal and ship the other product. That's such BS.

"Be aware of the low price posted on buy.com. If it is too good to be true, it sure is, with buy.com. They will cancel the bargin after you toured their site and made purchases. Don't even bother email you the cancellation. Feels like they are operating out of Iraq."

"They either trick buyers into visiting their site by repeatedly luring them in with low prices (which are never in stock and won't be back-ordered for you if you do order them) or they are not competent and post low prices by accident, then cancel your order without telling you.

When you order from them, just set your expectations of receiving the item as low as possible so you won't get disappointed when they cancel your order without notifying you.

"Like many others, ordered the 128mb USB flash storage drive and had my order cancelled. I had some faith in these guys, but not anymore. They weren't even decent enough to send out an e-mail, I had to check the website after reading complaints posted by other dissatisified customers. Buyer beware."

"Buy.com completely and thoroughly sucks. It is easily the WORST online store. They will show lots of things in stock but 3 days after you order, you will get an email saying the item is on backorder. I called them and they told me they do not know if the item is in stock until they go to pull the order. When the go to the bin and there are no more items, they will then change the website to say our of stock. Or I should say "that night" they will change the website to say out of stock. Can you believe it...they are basically running their inventory with a pencil and pad. I have placed my last order with this incompetent company. I am sure a lot of good, hardworking employees work there but the management is incompetent. My advice to all is STAY AWAY. Deal with a reputable business. They can't last much longer so if you decide to make a purchase, please use your charge card so you can dispute the charge when they go out of business. DO NOT use PayPal as you will likely never get your money back when Buy.com goes under."

"I placed my order, they charged my card, told me it shipped and 5 days later I log in to track my shipment and they've cancelled my order!

Now it's going to take 2 weeks of endless phone calls to get refunded, if at all.

I promise I will tell everyone I know to avoid them like the plague.

"I recently ordered two of the same items, one for my friend and one for myself. The order was processed within two business days, which was slow but I did not mind too much. However, it stayed in "Sent to Warehouse" status for about a week, and then I got my order cancelled. I did not receive any e-mails or messages whatsoover telling me the order was cancelled and was still waiting for it to arrive. However, when I checked the Website, it said the order got cancelled. I called them about it and the Customer Sales Representative did not know anything about the order and told me that it should have worked. After checking for a while, he said he could not do anything and that most likely, the item was no longer in stock. When I asked him why the order tracking on their Website would say "Shipped to Warehouse" when they did not have the item, he said he could not help me. Before I had a chance to say anything, he said "bye" and hung up on me. Buy.com charged my credit card around the same time the order went into the "Shipped to Warehouse" status, and it has been over a week and now I am still being charged for this item. I called my credit card company and they could not do anything about it. I called buy.com again and they told me that I should just wait for my credit card company to take out the charges, and said they had no record of me at all."
