"I have ordered many things from buy.com in the past. They have been very reliable and generally have pretty good prices. Iv most recently ordered a dvd burner, mouse, and keyboard. The products were ordered with no problem and the shipping was only several dollars. They products came in a few days. The products were nicely packaged and the items worked very nicely. In the past i did have one defect, but that was because of the manufactorer and buy.com replaced it with no problem. I highly reccomnd buy.com and almost always look there when im out to buy something.

"I ordered an item for $10 with a $10 rebate. One of the conditions for the rebate was to include the packing slip - buy.com did not include this with the item. I contacted them and asked for either a packing slip or a $10 gift card for buy.com. Three weeks later I got a reply saying to print the order conformation from the web site and if I had any problems rebate center then they would work with the rebate center to correct it. The only problem with this was that they took so long to reply to my complaint that the dead line to send in the rebate has passed. I won't buy from buy.com again. "

"This will be the absolute last time I order from Buy.com. I said that after they failed to honour my first order with the, but forgivingly decided to give them another chance. That was stupid. The item in question was ordered on the 1st with 3-5day shipping, which meant that Wednesday the 8th as the last day in the shipping timeframe. But look at it now, its already the 13th. I'm unable to track my package, and it takes 13 days after the order (meaning tomorrow) before I can file for lost shipment.

I'll tell you this. Even if it does come today, or even if it does after, I'm going to rma the product and take the hit.

"I used to buy regularly from buy.com, and the package would arrive the next day, before the shipping email from them arrived. The last order, for two items "in stock", waited for six days before shipping. Then they were shipped USPS, from across the country - over 2700 miles. The multiple warehouses around the country to speed shipments apparently is not true. The promised track information from the shipper is not available, and what little they provide is apparently not accurate. Customer service is not helpful. This last purchase was a huge disappointment to me and the young man who will now not get his birthday present on his birthday."
