"i order 2 rims, cust service called to order was correct. order said shipped, 2 days ltr i get an email saying items not in stock . i called n custr service just said we r out of stock, but order stated shipped . i asked to cancel full oreder twice, i only got refund for rims, i called again for my complete order to be canceled , since they could not complete my order..
i called a 4th time to get my full refund. not sure how they keep online items "instock" then they call n say its not available..

Ridiculous shipping cost for late shipping!!!

"I paid $17 for 2 day shipping and received the item 4 days later. I had to contact customer service to tell them my item did not ship when I was told it would and they sent an emergency email. Magically it shipped the next day. You shouldn’t have to reach out when your shipping costs more than the item. "

Subpar at best

"I bought over 2k worth of products from carID , they sent the wrong parts . Ive been waiting about a week just for a return label . But thats just the tip of the iceberg . I purchased a bumper for my car , whoever molded the bumper has no business molding anything . The left side of the bumper was for the Infiniti , the right side was for a Nissan , I’m a mechanic and I pride my self in my work and I had to use zip ties and other methods just to get the bumper on because of the poor quality . The bumper was cracked and chipped which you could not see at first glance in the box while the delivery guy was trying to just drop it off . I’ve had such a bad experience with this company with just how they handle everything I didn’t even want to get in a battle with them about returns , I made the necessary cuts and installments I had to do just to get it mounted . They took my money fast , that’s the only positive, if you wanna call that a positive. "

Misleading description and outrageous shipping

"The clip itself was fine, but the the pictures for the item looked like multiple clips when I only received one, for $11. Also, shipping was almost $30 for a single plastic clip that came in a small padded envelope. My fault for not paying attention when I checked out but unbelievable that this company would rip customers off this badly."

Fell short of expectations...

"I placed an order from CARiD for roof top molding. The page on their website states Driver AND Passenger side molding. I received my package, opened it, and to my surprise, only one piece of molding was in there. I called their 800-customer service number and was told that the wording was incorrect, and the order was for the Driver Side only. The 800 service could only process a return and if I wanted to order the correct part, I would have to contact CARiD again. I used the Live Chat, spoke to Paul, explained that I was confused by the webpage and needed to order a piece of molding for the PASSENGER side. I trusted Paul to look into what I needed as far as part numbers and after holding for a few moments, he informed me that he emailed me a link, stating that the link was for the exact part I needed. When I opened up the package, I was dumbfounded to see that I received the exact same part I already have. Now, I need to wait 3-5 days for a Return Label so I can return the part I can't use. Needless to say, I did some more homework and purchased the part elsewhere. While Paul was very pleasant to deal with, the end result was far from satisfactory."

Bad business

"I ordered a set of window guards for a 2018 Kia Optima S and I received the order, one of the window guards was broke. I notified Carid and they asked me to send photos of the damaged guard which I did. I received a email saying they were sending me a new replacement set of window guards and this would take 3-5 business days to process and I would receive a email with a shipment date. Well it has been almost a week past the 3-5 days and I still have not heard from you. This is bad business and I doubt I will ever order from your company again. If your not going to send me the replacement set of window guards, I want the charge for them refunded back to my credit card. Your help in this matter would be greatly appreciated. "
