Delays

"I purchased my seat covers and during checkout was told the seat covers would be shipped within 3-5 days. Three days after the purchase I received a notice that the shipping would be delayed 2 weeks. At the end of the 2 week period I was informed it would be another 2 weeks. Today is the new estimated shipping date and I have yet to receive a notice of additional delays or that it's been shipped. I'll update my review once my product arrives but as of now I am pretty disappointed in my overall experience.

Update: I never received the seat covers that were purchased. There were multiple delays and the communication from the manufacturer (CoverKing) was poor. I'd get a notice that it would be shipped on a particular date, that date would pass and I'd not get an update. I would then follow up to request the status of the order then after several days I'd be told it would be another 10 days. The customer service technician (Damon) was very responsive, he was not the problem at all. I would not recommend purchasing anything that CARiD sourced from CoverKing. Fortunately, the cancellation was fairly seamless.

Poor shipping

"Delicate part came in nothing but a plastic bag and got damaged . CARID only allowed a $40 shipping option and it came late and damaged. They request more pictures and then send a no reply email "

"I had order a part and it was the wrong item, I called to cancel it but it wasn't canceled in time, so it was shipped out. I had talked with another customer service person the day before. I was told wrong about the email, so I called the next day and that's when I got Jesse.
