"I ordered a refurbished part and got someone else’s core return. When I called, I was told it was a warranty issue, even though I did not receive my part. I was told it would be up to 72 hours before the warranty people review my claim. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, I was told that they are not allowed to give out that information and that somebody would be calling me within 48 hours, I never received the call.
When I asked him just to send me a part and I would mail them back the core that they sent me plus my core. They told me that policy said that they could not do that and that they would email me in 3 to 4 weeks with the shipping label for my returned defective part.
It seems that leadership as well insulated and that the front line employees are instructed not to use critical thinking skills they may have or to step out policy.
I told him to cancel my order and that I would return the defective product and within one hour they sent me the shipping labels. I am waiting for them to credit my account.
I ordered the part from someone else and got it in two days at a cheaper price.
I understand that things happen, but truly what makes a loyal customer is how a company reacts when mistakes do occur.
I live in Texas and currently we are experiencing 95° weather and a working AC is pretty damn important.
I wasn’t doing business with their supplier. I was doing business with CARiD. Even though the mistake occurred if their supplier level, their name and their reputation was on the line. I wasn’t asking for anything free. I was just asking for what I paid for in a timely manner.

That said, I needed to order parts for my Duramax Dually and the website just wasn't clear on the correct part to order. I called and spoke with a gentleman by the name of Konrad. He was very knowledgeable and was able to narrow things down to the correct part. He assisted me with placing my order on the spot which was shipped and received within two days, all at a very fair price. Very impressed! I'll be doing business with CARiD in the future for sure.
