"I had the pleasure of working with the staff of CPU solutions for my client. My client needed 30 systems ASAP for a new software roll out. CPU Solutions came through with flying colors. They met our budget requirements and hardware requirements. All systems were delivered un-assembled as we requested. We had only a hard full of parts to send back, but CPU solutions called us and had an RMA ready. We are now ordering another 17 systems. I would highly recommend them and will purchase from them myself for personal systems."
"I'm quite satisfied with my dealing with CPU Solutions. I experienced a "lag" between the time I placed the order and received confirmation, but 1) order was palaced late on a Thursday, & 2) my main experience with online purchasing has been with Amazon.com.
The order was received when expected. Packing was excellent. I put the machine together & everything is working fine.
I'd been browsing CPU solutions' web site for about a year before I actually had the funds to make my purchase. I will gladly buy from them again. "
"I just bought an Athlon 64 gaming PC with alot of upgrades. the price was great, the PC is more than I had hoped for, PC Solutions put it all together, and it was at my door in one week. Great Service , Great Computer, Great Price, Fast delivery. I would recommend CPU Solutions "
"I ordered an Illiminated Keyboard/Purple (only place I found Purple)in Color on 4-5-04, arrived on 4-7-04. $40 +$6.99 shipping is very reasonable. Arrived fast and in good shape. Very thorough tracking info provided.
Other online retailers should try to be more like CPUsolutions. I am very impressed. 5*'s"
"Great price, great machine. Shipped quickly, arrived in excellent shape. We will definitely be purchasing more units from this seller!"
"Have been a "walk-up" customer of CPU Solutions for some time now. Since I found their store front was close to me, I haven't bought any computer supplies anywhere else. I highly recommend calling and chatting with the sales team. I had some questions about LINUX info online and one of their tech's emailed me a few days later to point me in the right direction. Once again, I'm very impressed with this business and will continue to shop with them."
"I've been a customer since 2000, have bought 2 systems with them. My first system is still running and going to my Daughter. I just purchased a Athlon 64 Barbones. Just time to upgrade. The prices are good, the items are well packed... Even recommended this company to my Father who bought a system."
"I ordered a motherboard/cpu bundle for a great price direct from their website. Shipping was reasonable and the package arrived on time.
The items ordered were packed very nicely using styrofoam peanuts and an invoice was included inside the box.
I was able to get the computer up and running within a few hours of receiving the package.
I am very satisfied with Cpu Solutions and would order from them again."
"Have ordered many times over the past couple of years and have been very happy with every purchase. Have bought complete systems as well as parts and everytime without any problems. The people who take the orders are courteous and professional and tech support is top notch. They will go the extra mile to make it right. Thank you CPU Solutions!"
"I run Folding@Home on 16 systems for the AMDmb.com Folding Frogs. 14 of those systems run as "Headless/Dedicated" rigs. Seven of those are Biostar M7VKQ motherboards with XP1700 CPUs, 128MB Ram, 2GB HDD, etc, ......all the same running WinXP pro. All networked @ 100 Fast Ethernet.
I wanted to add more of those and purchased two from CPU Solutions. They had a good competitive price with good support from what I saw in the Reseller Ratings. I ordered them, they shipped right away. Great.
To make a long story short, the two new boards, on-board LAN would not upload to the internet correctly, consistantly enough to work without some part of a network timing-out. No matter what the packet size might be. No matter using the on-board LAN or a PCI based NIC. No matter what OS, be it Win2k pro or WinXP pro. Static or dynamic IP addys. MS ICS or Wingate. New or old drivers. Trust me, I went through EVERY part of the farm (Hardware/Software), and couldn't figure it out.
Otherwise, they worked just fine.
Interestingly, both mobos in question had consecutive serial numbers.
I applied to CPU Solutions for an RMA. Got in contact with "BO" (Tech Rep). He was patient enough to (via Email) go through every step I had to get a pretty good idea something was up albeit strange. I think we traded eight or so Emails that were very detailed.
He agreed to have me send them back to be tested in-house. Naturally they worked correctly for him. He did confess that they did present with symptoms much like what I was describing, yet very infrequent and, I agree, could easily have been attributed to network collisions, etc.
I freely confess that I can certainly understand where most TechReps might consider this a case of "Pilot Error" and deny my RMA request. However, for me, they would not serve my needs as such. I was smart enough to have kept all the original packing materials and had returned the product in a resellable condition. Bo recognised that and was willing to exchange the boards for two more. MOST EXCELLENT!
Naturaly, they had sold out of that particular model. DOH!! Fortunately for me, Bo was willing to still credit the boards and just let me upgrade to the next best thing. He worked with me sorting through what was in stock and selecting an apropriate replacement. It cost a total of $30 for the two replacements delivered.
Both motherboards have been installed using the same everything and work flawlessly. Perfect!
Bo and CPU Solutions could have very easily have said no to RMA'ing the boards. They bent over backwards to make it right. That's what matters.

"CPUSolutions had the cheapest price for an A7V133 motherboard on pricewatch, so I ordered from them and got it in a few days. Unfortunately, I was unhappy to see that the board came OEM, and nowhere on their website did it say this motherboard was OEM. I expected it to come in a retail box.
Well, luckily the motherboard POSTed, but it refused to install my copy of Windows XP with Service Pack 1 streamlined into it. Always froze at "installing network" part, and I also got around 20,000 memory errors in memtest86 (memory is fine in other MBs). So I RMA'd the beast, got a call from Bo 10 days later that said he got his WinXP installed just fine. He did offer me a refund, which I gladly accepted.
Unfortunately, the refund didn't get processed so I had to call 12 days later, they found my refund laying on someone's desk waiting to be processed, and it posted on my account yesterday.
Overall, I was happy for the refund, but disappointed the motherboard was OEM and would not have purchased it had I known beforehand.
I ended up buying an MSI K7T Turbo2 from Newegg, used exact same components and runs my WinXP w/ SP1 perfectly and with no memory errors.
I do not recommend buying a motherboard from this company unless it explicitely says "Retail Box", otherwise you will probably get an OEM version."
"I have purchased many systems from them, more from them than any other company, ever. They are dependable and helpful."
"Great service fast delivery will order from the again in the near future"
"I ordered a Motherboard combo (MB,CPU,Fan) From CPU Solutions. When the package arrived the cooling fan was not in the package. As has been the problem with other online suppliers I was prepared for a long up hill battle. ALAS not with CPU SOLUTIONS. One phone call and I was assured said fan would be in the mail "TODAY". I backed up the phone call to customer support and with in 8 hours received a reply/sppology and more reasurrance the fan was in the mail.
This cumpany has it together. You get a warm and fuzzy right from the beginning. There are cheaper places but are they there or speak english when you need them? Buy from these guys!"
"I ordered a motherboard from CPU Solutions via their website late on a Sunday evening and was nicely suprised finding it on my door steps the following Wednesday after work. I had some trouble with the BIOS settings and thought I had lost the mobo in a matter of 10 minutes from installing it. However an email I sent that evening was promptly answered the following morning with instructions on how to solve my troubles. After following the technicians instructions on setting the jumpers according to my CPU the computer booted up into the OS. The email response time from their technician Bo was within 5 minutes of me sending them and helped me out tremendously. I will certainly use this company in the future and appreciate the swift help and knowledge Bo provided. I would recommend CPU Solutions to anyone looking for fast shipping times and friendly and knowledgeable technicians."
