"Recently bought a jumper which was too large, when I asked for one in a smaller size they allowed me to keep the original and also ship me a smaller one at no additional charge, this is very generous and I am very pleased with the response they gave. "

"I have bought many items from cafepress over the years, and I recently even opened up my own shop there. I've never really had a problem with them. It takes a little long to get your items, but that's okay most of the time. All the products I've received so far, were of a pretty good quality.
I recently received a glass that was completely broken into pieces when I opened the box, so I contacted them right away and almost immediately got a response, that was not only awesome, but completely solved the ior fssue. They weren't going to force me to incur any extra shipping charges and just suggested I throw away the glass. This is a very big deal, because most places will make you pay shipping, even if they send you a wrong or defective item, or it was broken during shipping etc., which to me is pretty damn unacceptable. I was very pleased.

I do wish they would ship the drinking glasses in styrofoam, like they do with their mugs, however (even though I hate styrofoam and wish they would find a bio-degradable alternative).

I think they offer such an awesomely large variety of different items you can personalize, and that rocks. They have constant sales almost every day, and they will email you about them if you so desire. I wish they would go past midnight though, because I often get an email and it's too late, because I don't have enough time to design something or find an item I want.

"Cafe Press provides really amazing customer service. A friend had sent me an adorable T-shirt, in size small, which is what I usually wear. However, it is a "junior" shirt and comes from American Apparel, which runs really small, so I needed a medium. I emailed Cafe Press, and within a hour, I had a response back, saying they had already ordered me a replacement in the correct size. AND....I didn't even need to return the original shirt!"

"I was so disappointed with my customer support experience. Even though the Support Team answered my emails within 1 day and are extremely polite and have a well written template, I noticed by their 2nd reply that they never actually read my emails. They kept asking me the same questions and when everything was finally straightened out I discovered they were sending my exchanges to the person who gifted them to me. They did not even record my name or mailing address!! When I finally called them directly the young lady who took my information on the phone was not rude but definitely not friendly either. She just took my name and address and said she would revise. MAYBE I will see my new t-shirts."

"I don't normally take the time to write reviews for retail outlets, but I'm making an exception in this case.

I ordered a t-shirt last minute at Christmas for a friend - CafePress delivered in plenty of time. Unfortunately, the shirt was too small - CafePress replaced it with the right size, let me keep the original shirt and did not charge me for shipping.

My experience with CafePress - from ordering to shipping to returns - will definitely lead to future orders as it has become one of my favorite online shopping sites.

"Excellent costumer service! I had placed an order for a dog T-shirt, but when I received it I realized it was a size too small. CafePress allowed me to put a request in for an exchange. When I did I got a reply immediately that said they would be sending the larger size, and that I could keep the originals so I wouldn't have to pay anymore shipping cost. Love this site!!! I'm so impressed with the costumer service!"

"I placed an order on the 16th Jan, I checked this website for any complaints which I always do before using a new webite. I was worried as the reviews were very bad but I though I will risk it this time as it was only £36.50. I bought a customised baby grow and a XXXXL customised t-shirt. I chose this website as I needed a very large for my super sized father. :)
A day later I was surprised that I received an email that my item was shipped. I still didn't believe that this is actually happening so I was like "I'll believe it when I'll see it" but they arrived on the 21st Jan (following Monday) and they look great! No complaints whatsoever! Good products and fast shipping! This is all I can ask from an online retailer.

"I was a shop owner but hadn't used or updated the shop or sold anything for a very long time. When I realized that I had $23+ in my owner account, which showed up in my account. I called to see if there was a way to get a refund without their usual requisite of $25.

The answer was no. I spoke to someone several times. Then, when I went back into my account to see if a purchase would put me over the required $25, my account balance was suddenly showing $0.00!

When I called about it, they insisted it was not because of my phone call but that I hadn't payee information with my account which is not true. My contact information has ALWAYS been there. I never received any correspondence from them. But I cannot prove that either.

So, they say they "donated" my money and cited their Terms of Service Agreements, saying they did not have my Payee Information, which is absolutely not true.

I WILL NEVER USE OR RECOMMEND CAFE PRESS. PERIOD! I will use other sites instead. ...and, if you do use them, be very careful as they are a very dishonest and deceitful company.

I hope this horrible example helps some others out there.

"These guys were amazing! I ordered pj's for my girlfriend last minute for xmas and they arrived by overnight ups. The price was steep for shipping and my the shirt wouldn't fit my gf. BUT their returns process was amazing. My gf wanted something different so Brittany M and Luisa C. in customer service helped me via email. They refunded my total including the shipping!!! Best returns service I've had in my life. Thank you Brittany M. and Luisa C. I will be shopping here again for sure!"

"UK BUYERS BEWARE:
I ordered a clock from Cafe Press, which arrived promptly but which was such poor quality, the hands didn't move around the clock face!
Trying to find a customer service point on their website was a nightmare. Only USA phone numbers and the Help link produced a blank screen. I eventually found an email a/d and told them of the problem. The reply informed me they would refund $14 whereas I had paid £14.99 in pounds sterling. I informed them and they said they would refund £14 - no mention of the shipping costs. When I asked for these to be refunded I was told no. So - a useless item, a load of hassle and considerably out of pocket. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU ARE ORDERING FROM UK!
