My total order, including shipping, was very reasonably priced. I was slightly disappointed that I didn't receive a shipment notification e-mail, however even though I chose ground shipping I still received my order in 2 days. Had it taken longer, I would have rated this company lower. But considering my overall experience I would definitely shop at Case-Mod again."
"Case-mod is a great place to find things. This is my 3rd time ordering from them because they usually have great prices. The only thing I do hate is about ordering from them is the shipping. My order went out Mon. and I dont get it till the next Mon. Much to long in my opinion when the rest of the stuff I ordered came that same week from other places. But like I said it's a great place so if you're not in a rush to get your things and don't have the extra money to upgrade your shipping don't even worry about it and buy from a trusting place like Case-mod."
"I thought the experience was pretty great, I got what I wanted, got a straight forward price, good shipping, no tax pretty quicklly. A flaw i did note would be the difficulty in browsing the comments on a product. The product desciptions and photos for each product seem somewhat lacking and I had to do some research elsewhere to decide on buying a product. The link stream from getting a product to reading to 3-4 reviews is too long. Overall, depnding on when I get my packag, I'm pretty happy."
"I recently bought two 80mm Aluminum & Chrome 37cfm Case Fans. They are absolutely great! Then again it did replace the one 60mm fan w/ an 80mm adapter that I had, so of course there would be improvement. But looking at several fans, by specs these fans were the best 3000rpm fan that I could find. It had lower db (noise level so lower better) and higher cfm (let’s.. just say higher is better) than the other 3000rpm fans and some 2500rpm fans!
Well, after I bought these fans I saw the giveaway they had on their home page(eh, I have their specials bookmarked) Looking at my keyboard, I realized that I should at least try. But don’t think that I’m going to kiss...yah.. just cuz I’m trying to get something! I still have my dignity, or at least I still believe I do.
I’ll start with cons, just so readers who’ve actually gone this far and want to continue on will remember good things when I do pro last. *wink*
Cons:
-small site, definitely needs more computer mods
-most stuff that is supplied at this site can be found at several other sites
-reviews on the site are a great idea and I look at them and value the input in there a lot, but they are pretty empty/low in the amount of people who write them.
-only had two shipment options for me....
PROS!:
-things are VERY easy to find
-I love their random pictures of products on each visit to a new webpage on their site, it sometimes shows me things that I’ve never seen before.
-Although the site does have several products that can be found at other sites, this store is one of the TOP CHEAPEST sites that I’ve found, and still have items that I have not been able to find anywhere else.
-shipment was fast! Bought it Thursday night, my order was processed and shipped out Friday (pretty standard for most sites to ship next day) got it Monday, remembering that no postage is sent Sunday.
I have kept case-mod bookmarked in my favorites for a long time now. But this is my first order, cuz of money. Originally I bookmarked it because they had neon wires that I couldn’t find anywhere else and for the low prices of those wires, but they ran outta those. Now I just go there to dream about owning the L.I.S Platinum LCD Kit *sigh* it’s so dreamy.
OVERALL this site is great for the beginning computer mod’ers and still good for those who are more advanced and looking for something different. This site may not have as much stuff as I would love it to have, but it still has great stuff AND PRICES! that make it bookmark worthy.
