Perfect sale almost except my 10" UV IDE cable was not UV? Oh well I guess it makes up for them sending me a Antec UV CCFL! Not the generic one! I love these guys. "I ordered a dual kit of 12" cold cathodes. The order came in within a reasonable amount of time, but I was short one of the cold cathodes. I emailed ****@**** and told them the problem. I had to have the new light shipped to a different address since I was moving from my old address, and they sent the new cathode to my new address super quick. "I ordered $86 worth of products from this site, consisting of SLK-800, 2 cathodes, 4 fans, LED's, as3. Right after I ordered i recieved my email confirmation of my order, and sat back to wait for my order.
I never got any other email from case-mod again, ever. I never got any tracking number either. Their FAQ is way out of date as well. I tried to use their reference tracking number on airborne express site (this is what their faq said to do). But it didn't work so I called them up long distance (no toll free number) and they explained how they use fedex to ship now. ok..
So my package arrives on Thurs. I'm excited and open up the package.... just to find that half the stuff is missing. My slk-800 and 2 fans are missing from the box. I look at the invoice and it has the 2 fans highlighted and comments: backordered. Ok so the website said in stock but it's actually backordered. There was nothing said about the slk-800, it just wasn't included in the package. I called them up immediately (long distance) and after about three tries, someone picks up. They said my fans are backorderd until monday and my slk-800 was shipped out yesterday (meaning wednesday). Of course I got no email or phone call about any of this. They expect you to either forget about it or call them back yourself at your expense.
On monday I call again and ask for a tracking number since of course they don't update you by email or phone. I reconfirm with the fellow I'm talking to on the phone and ask him "so this package should include both the thermalright and the two fans right?" he says "yes that's everything".
On Wed. Fedex Ground says i wasn't home but I was right next to the door on the comp the entire day so i dunno.. anyway, I got my package Thursday and opened it to find.. two fans. My slk-800 is still missing. There is no note or invoice or anything inside the box. As usual, no email or phone call about the situation. I call them up again and explain my situation to one person. He says the slk-800 should have been shipped. hmmm. I say it wasn't. I forgot to mention that the fedex tracking site and the package both say the weight was 1.0lb. I was POSITIVE a huge copper heatsink would way at LEAST 1.1lb which would make the site say 2.0lb (they round up). He said he'll call me back after he talks with his manager about this problem. About three hours later I call them back (long distance, mind you) and a different person picks up and I explain everything to him again. Finally he agrees to send my my slk-800. He says the estimate time it will arrive is monday. I tell him I've waited two weeks for my stuff.. and since I live in LA and they're in San Jose, it's rediculous i've waited this long for my products to arrive. So he agrees to shop by fedex overnight. They actually call me back in 30 mins and gave me my tracking number. I recieved my package as promised on Friday.
Well there's my story. My comments on case-mod is that they are very unorganized and irresponsible in dealing with their customers. I only recieved ONE email throughout the entire process (actually i recieved another automated fedex email like a week after i got my package). Maybe I'm just too used to newegg's 3-4 emails per order. I never received any info on why my slk-800 wasn't in the package. I was also given false information about my slk-800 being shipped on 7/9 when it really wasn't even packaged until friday, 7/11 to be shipped on the following monday, 7/13.
But with these truck loads of complaints.. there are bits of positives. They ammend the problems (lots of them) quickly and come to a solution. The operators are patient and calm and try and fix the situation.
It seriously looks like it would best be ordering products over the phone.. that way you can get inventory update, tracking number, and have everything you want answered, answered. "
"I ordered 2 quad blue LED fans and they arrived in a timely manner. The fans were in the original retail box with the grill and the adapter as advertised. They shipped them in a airborne express box via fedex, one that could have fit about 10 fans in. Shipping was $6, cost of fans was $5. It was still a good deal, but they could have shipped it via USPS for alot cheaper in a more sizable box. Also, I received the email stating the order had shipped but they do not include a tracking number. $6 shipping should include a tracking number. All in all I'm not complaining, but it just could have been better.
I would also like to add that I asked the tech support about the fans being crystal clear to make sure they didn't have a clear blue cage around the fan, and they replied within a day."
"Order the SLK-800A paid $35.55 total including tax and shipping. This was the cheapest place that had it. Only real problem was there was no tracking email sent saying that the heatsink was sent and is coming. Took about 2 days to get it anyway :)

I order 4 fans , a fan adapter and some thumbscrews... First box arrives... huge box with screws and a fan adapter. I figure okay, I'll check the reciept. Reciept says backorder, so I am a little confused since the site says they have them in stock.
I leave my first email. Wait 3 days. No response.
I leave another email. Wait 2 days till response. Says they will be in stock in a few days, and my order will be completed.
1 week later I recieved a second box. Open to find it contains 1 fan! What the ----?
Okay, I leave an email. Same day response... " We are sorry for the inconvience, your fans will be shipped out tomarrrow." Cool, it's just a simple mistake I thought.....
Wait 2 weeks.. No email, no package, no nothing. I hate being lied too! Tried calling, no answer. Left another email. If no response, will be filling with credit company for fraud. Do not waste your time with this store... The seem to think that's the customer's satisfaction is lowest priority, and they come first. Never had problems like this before with any other store, nor am I hard to work things out with, they just don't seem to care... :(

Seems that once I recieved a call from their customer service dept, I recieved my fans within 2 days, and they even threw in a free blacklight ata133 cable.... seems that they are just slow when it comes to online orders, nothing else. If you talk to someone over the phone, they are friendly and willing to remedy any problems. Due to the recently progress of my order, I might order again from here, but will only order by phone. Reach them by phone... it's 100x better service!"

EDIT: they sent my order out but failed to inform me AND never responded to my emails to cancel.I am missing two ITEMS and did not recieve any statements about the missing itmes.
after sending many emails to shipping I sent duplicates to other departsments and found out they mistakenly missed 2 itmes and should recieve them a full 2 weeks after placing my order"
"Ordered an X-Sonic case, 2 cables, 2 fans, and a cold cathode light, all at very good prices (lower than I saw anywhere else). The order shipped out the same day (Monday) in 2 packages. On Friday, I received the first package (the case) with the invoice, which stated that one cable and the cold cathode were back ordered. I e-mailed the shipping department to inquire about the second package, and the back ordered items. I received a prompt response stating that the second package was sent the same day as the first, and to contact them again the folllowing week if it didn't arrive. Also, the email stated that the back ordered items had been shipped, and to expect that package the following week. On Monday the second package arrived; the third arrived on Wednesday. I'm very happy with my buying experience, and will shop with them again."
