"They delivered a used phone while their advertisement said that was a brand new item. Their packing was worst. It never turned on. Got an RMA and sent it back. I hope they learned how to pack after receiving my return. Happy news is they refunded me after a week."

"Received a defective gray market bluetooth headset with no US warranty, was not reimbursed for return shipping. Won't buy from Cellhut again.

Update: offering me a replacement does not change the fact that they sell gray market merchandise and make you pay for return shipping.

"Ordered Motorola Bluetooth HS850 Headset on 11/30/07. Per Cellhut's website order is "verified" (still two weeks later). Was assured on 2 separate occasions that I would receive a tracking number that day- didn't happen. I am now awaiting the tracking number (my third request) for the item which supposedly was to be shipped today- per their most recent email from yesterday. I am not holding my breath.

Ordered thru Google checkout, and used Ebates for this item. I am very surprised that either of these online services support this company.

This is the email I received after contacting them to cancel after being repeatedly promised a tracking number:

The only positive thing was that I did not have to harass them for a refund- that was actually prompt.

Word to the wise- don't be surprised if you order from them for your item not to arrive. Wish I had read these reviews before ordering in the first place. Ordered same item for similar pricing from Overstock- received it within 5 days.

"all items are just what I expected, arrived on time and all appears to be wonderful. since this is a gift I'm hoping that they are fully operational, however looking at the condition of each package it appears that you all gave this order the care I was hoping. your quick response to our order and your updates leads me to use your company again for my future needs. having four teenage kids, I'm sure I'll be back again for more items."

"The item was shipped to the wrong address. I called and corrected it and agreed to pay for the second shipment (i had left off my apatment number). After several weeks of email and calls (with a minimum of 30 min of waiting each) i still have not recieved the item. I asked for a refund and they are saying i have to ship it back, BUT I NEVER RECIEVED IT!! Would never use again and do not recomend to anyone"

"Worst online shopping experience by far!

I ordered by phone on saturday, november 24th. That same day I got 6 emails from verificator.com saying that they needed to verify my identity and they could not reach my phone (duh, thats why i'm buying a new one). They asked me to email them back when would be a best time to call, so I did TWICE and gave a new contact number. I called CellHut Sunday morning and they told me that it wasn't ordered bc my phone number wasn't the number on my credit account... BS! I checked on my account and it was correct. There was still no luck hours later on sunday, so I called again and the guy said that it should be put through and i gave him my temporary number and he said he'd call back if it didn't go through. I didn't get a response or anymore verificator.com emails, so i assumed all was well.

Well, NO, it wasn't... The next morning I checked status which said "pending" STILL. Later that day, "CANCELLED". I immediately called customer support and he again, said that the number was incorrect, and I told him AGAIN that it was not. He said he would push the order through. The status changed and said "verified". He said that i would get the phone TOMORROE.

Again, Checked status and still not shipped. I called customer support AGAIN and spoke with BRIAN. He said it would ship today or tomorrow. I indicated my frustrations and he said they were waiting for the phone to be in stock. I asked for free overnight and he said that would be ok. He said he would give me a call back when he could verify when it would be shipped. And honestly, after the service I have gotten to date, I didn't have much faith.

Well, it FINALLY shipped today... Brian lied to me, and they haven't responded to any of my emails.

STAY AWAY

In response to the sellers comment-
The phone I purchased was NOT out of stock! I have every email saved from the company and not once did a customer service representative tell me that it was out of stock. My issue was that it was saying my credit card information was wrong, WHICH IT WASN'T, and no one would help me, or would tell me lies just to get me off the phone. This company is full of lies. Buyer Beware!!

Also, take notice of the rude comments that cellhut.com posts in response to buyers concerns; Not to mention their grammer errors. It shows you what kind of people are running this company!

"Order a bluetooth headset on 11/10, finally received something today, it was an EMPTY box, not even packing slip and of course no product. Called them and now they say they are 100% they shipped it so that I have to talk to my local post office to find out what happened.! WTF!
The box was not even sealed with any kind of tape at all nor there is sign that someone tampered with it, I am sure they sent me an empty box.
The manager was supposed to call us back in "30 minutes" but of course that never happened. We will give them a few days to either refund us our money or send the product. Else I am stopping payment.
I should have looked at their rating before ordering from them.
12/3/07 UPDATE: Cellhut finally sent me the product, almost a month after my original order and although they have good prices i will not be ordering from them again. Last time i called their support desk i was on hold for 85 minutes. not worth it

"It took them a whole five days to figure out that what i ordered was out of stock. If I had known earlier, I could've purchased it from elsewhere. But they just canceled it with no explanation other than "out of stock." Shoddy customer service. Other places would send an apology and some kind of discount/coupon."

"Packet didn't contain what was listed on website. When called, they told that they will send the missing part. But in 2 weeks time, I have not received the part. Tried calling couple of time and now nobody picks up phone for 10-30 min. Finally I had to disconnect because I had to leave."

"It's funny, when you call CellHut you listen to a recording about how great their customer service is...needless to say, after 5 calls to them being on hold at least 45 minutes at a time, multiple attempts to have them ship what we paid for, it took almost 2 months to get our product. GREAT customer service!"
