"I purchased the Sony HT-CT350 sound bar. I was looking for something to enhance the sound on my 42" Hitachi. My choices were narrowed down to the JVC TH-BA1 or the sony. Since the UPS has a LCD screen, I plugged it in and checked the display. It let me know that the battery came 100% charged. So, I skipped the nominal 16 hour charging cycle before use and hooked it up. It seems to be working fine so far.
