"i ordered a dvr expander (hard disk)trough them. it showed in stock when all other stores showed out of stock. there was no order confirmation. several days later customer support sent an email saying the product was out of stock. no link to the order or to cancel the order was given. i replied that the order should be canceled. no response from them. several days later i requested confirmation of cancelation. no response. several days later the product showed up at my door. well after the order should have been canceled. The order was poorly packed in a box with one sheet of paper as padding. There was no fragile marking anywhere on the box"

"I bought A Samsung mx20 Camcorder, I got charged for the Camera which I still waiting for delivery, they wont't answer my emails and the phone # on the website does not work, I am going to complaint to NY Attorney General on Fraud charges.
I think I lost my money, I am a disable person and use the Intenet to buy things that I need.

"I wanted to express how very satisfied I am with my shopping experience with this vendor. I wanted a new Fender guitar amplifier and Comp-U-Plus had the lowest price I could find. I hadn't done business with them before but the reviews were mostly very positive so I took a chance and ordered the amp from them. I placed my order on June 30, and chose their free ground shipping option. I received their acknowledgement and thanks for the order right away and then a second email confirming that my credit card company had approved the transaction about 1 hour later. This morning when I checked my email I had two more messages from them. One stating the amp had shipped and the other provided me with the tracking number. UPS delivered the amp at noon today, July 1. I live in NY state and the company is located in NY but this was exceptional service as far as I'm concerned. Especially considering the shipping was free. The product was new as advertised. I would certainly buy from Comp-U-Place again."

"I have ordered Targus TXL617 backpack from this seller. Of course before ordering I was skeptical a bit after reading several negative reviews. Well, here’s mine:
1. Ordering, shipping and product itself were rather excellent…I placed my order on 13-Jun and it was shipped by 16Jun arriving to my overseas APO destination on 22-Jun-09. For most of my orders it takes 2-3 weeks to get here….this one was loooot faster. Everything was OK with the product. Just as described and brand new!
2. Targus TXL617 is a laptop backpack designed to accommodate large laptops. This backpack is perfect for my HDX18t laptop (HP 18.4”). As a matter of fact there is at least 1 inch of space on top and side of the laptop for even larger laptops.

Bottom line, my first and so fart only experience with this seller was 5*. Thanks and keep up a good work. Will be back for more products.

"I had never heard of Compuplus.com and was a little concerned ordering a high-end HD camcorder with the mixed reviews, so I had to take the time to say my order and the service were EXCELLENT. I had a minor hiccup when my order was blocked by my credit card company (no fault of compuplus.com). I called compuplus.com and they efficiently helped me get the order completed and processed. The order shipped the same day (Tuesday), I received a tracking number Thursday and it arrived Friday by UPS."

"I needed a wireless gateway cable modem and settled on a motorola unit.
I found the best price on compuplus.com and was genuinely worried given the reviews here...but their price was $20 cheaper than anywhere else, so armed with my credit card buyer's protection I took a chance.

I ordered on 1/12/09
I received an email confirming my order on 1/12
I received another confirming the charge to my card on 1/12
I received ANOTHER email 1/12 confirming my order was being shipped.
I received a FOURTH email on 1/12 with the USPS tracking number and the item arrived 1/14.
Item was new, unused and worked out of the box.
I know these guys don't look great on paper, and they are not a company with alot of whistles and bells on their site or service...
but I got exactly what I wanted, charged accurately, shipped quickly, and in new condition for the best price on the net.
A+ Performance, guys.

"I ordered a Braun Series 7 790cc Pulsonic Shaver with LCD Screen - 9595CC for $279.83 on 12/14/08 for a Christmas gift. I recieved an order confirmation on 12/15/08. On 12/16/08 I received an update indicating that my credit card has been charged. It also indicated my order will be shipped promptly and I would receive a tracking number by email upon shipment. On 12/18/08, I checked the order status and the items still had not been shipped. I emailed customer service to check on the status since I selected 2nd day air (ships in 1-2 days) on my order. On 12/20/08, I again emailed customer service to urgently respond to my request as to when the order will be shipped and expected date of delivery since I had not received a response to my request of 12/18/08. On 12/21/08, I recieved an email from Comp-U-Plus indicating my order has been processed and was forwarded to the shipping dept. It was scheduled to be shipped within 24 hours and that I would recieve a tracking number via email as soon as it is shipped.....sounded like a repeat of the email I received on 12/16/08. On 12/22/08, a customer service representative called me to let me know there was a mix-up and my order was not processed for shipping and if I was still interested I would receive the item on Friday 12/26/08. Because that last two promises did not materialize, the company's integrity was already in question...and since this item was for a Christmas gift and would not have been received until after Christmas even though I requested 2nd day air shipping on my initial order on 12/15/08....I demanded that my order be cancelled and my credit card be credited for the return. On 12/23/08, I received a notice that a refund had been applied to my credit card for the purchase price. Now I just need to check my statement if they charged me for the shipping with my order since they only credited me for the product. "

"Bought a Samsung NC10 from them. Accurate description of the product, fast and cheap shipping, and extremely competitive product pricing.

They kept updating me of the progress of the transaction every step of the way which was very reassuring.

The entire online shopping experience was painless and very satisfying. I will most certainly consider making more purchases from Comp-U-Plus in future.

"I just wanted to thank you for an awesome company you guys have and run. I took a chance in writing a memo requesting for gift wrapping upon placing my order (as was a surprise late Christmas gift for my husband), but I really didn’t expected the merchandise to be gift wrap since it wasn’t part of an ordering option.
I received the package today and found it gift wrapped… wow. Thanks so much for taking the extra step with the gift wrapping. My husband was really surprised and I am satisfied with the level of service you have provided.

"This seller is horrible. I ordered a Wacom CINTIQ12WX Cintiq 12" Pen Display, which I received for $891.94 with ground shipping. When I received it, the packaging looked like it has been repackaged (torn tape on plastic bags, bags looked stretched open and then put back together). I set it up anyway, and as soon as I turned on the monitor I could see 4 or 5 permanently dead or bright pixels, and there were a few more that were tentatively messed up. If this was a brand new product, it would not have that many issues. I have used Wacom products for 8 years, and have never had problems with their products-ever. This is definitely a Comp-U-Plus problem. This is a RESOLD product, and it should be labelled as that- NOT NEW. WORSE is that when I called them to return it, they didn't apologize for their faulty product, AND THEY WOULDN'T PAY FOR SHIPPING IT BACK TO THEM---that comes out of my pocket. Not only that, they refunded me back 15 dollars less than I actually spent, because they were only refunding back their current selling price (which conveniently for them only went on sale the day they received my return). So I am out the $15 + $20 shipping cost, and I have no product to show for it, and no apologies, wasted my time, and they haven't responded to my email questions. Bottom line is that COMP-U-PLUS is THIEVISH, UNRELIABLE, and UNTRUSTWORTHY."
