"I placed my order with comp-u-plus on December 7th. I bought headphones that I intended to give my best friend on Christmas. My order still has not arrived.
I paid for ground shipping, so I expected the delivery to take a week or so. However, 2 weeks later, I contacted customer service by phone. On December 23rd I was informed that my package hadn't even been shipped yet. I was then told my package would be shipped overnight at no additional cost and would arrive the next day, Christmas Eve. I was told I would receive a tracking number that evening. Although disappointed, I was pleased with their seeming willingness to make amends.
I did not receive a tracking number. Instead, I received an email informing me that my credit card has been charged. I consider myself an understanding man, but this just felt like a slap in the face.
I called again early on the morning of Christmas Eve to request my tracking number and to confirm that my package would arrive that day. I was assured that I would receive my tracking number very soon by email and that my package would arrive that day. I took their word for it.
My order did not arrive that day. I did not have a gift to give my best friend on Christmas day. I still have not received a tracking number or been contacted.
Though I see others have had different experiences, the service comp-u-plus has provided me is unprofessional and completely unacceptable. I am extremely disappointed with comp-u-plus."

I had ordered a wii from another company as a Christmas present for someone who has been begging for one since they came out :-) YESTERDAY, when I was supposed to receive this wii in the mail, I got an e-mail from this company saying that my order had been canceled because they were out of stock. I had been expecting the package for about a week and at that point was crushed! I got online to see if by some miracle I could get a wii by Christmas or settle for getting it after. I ordered it Fedex 2 day. 6 days Later I call and find out its not in stock - but the are willing to give me $10 toward another purchase.

I ordered MS Office and a thumb drive on 12/9. Since then order tracking has merely acknowledged the order. Called customer service on 12/15 and was promised email re order by end of day. 28 hours later still no email. Called customer service 12/16 and was put on hold for 15 minutes. Called them back but they were closed.
So far the only efficient part of this transaction has been the speed with which they charged my credit card i.e. immediately.
If not rectified by tomorrow I will begin notifying BBB, Credit Card etc

After the above very disappointing experiences I finally spoke to Becky Galan (Customer Service Manager). She was pleasant, efficient and solved all problems. I received the two items in separate shipments over the next two days.
My conclusion? Despite the fact the order was fulfilled the poor service and time wasted getting problems resolved would make me think very hard before buying from them again. However it would seem that if they trained and monitored their staff more efficiently they could be a much improved company.

"They advertised the unit I wanted at a considerably lower rate than any other competitors. I called the company I was dealing with to get a pricematch, but they told me it was just impossible because the price was 1. lower than the manufacturer's rules and 2. they would have to lose money to sell it at that. So they told me if I wanted to, I should go ahead and buy it with Compuplus.com, but said you get what you paid for and that they don't seem legit.
I should've listended to them. I placed the order for it on the 7th of Aug., didn't receive anything until the 13th, and went online to track my package on the 14th only to find out that it was shipped on the 13th but I can't get any tracking number or anthting. I thought that was a little weird, but just decided to wait for the package. Now, today, on the 15th, I receive an email saying that they have refunded my payment because they didn't have the unit in stock.
That is some lame crock of crap. It is very unprofessional to oversell (and even to admit it in the email), and for them to take over a week to check the inventory while not notifying the buyer of any status. All their reviews couple months back were negative, but I thought 'if I didn't lose money, how bad could it be' and went with it. It was a complete waste of time and that in itself is pretty bad, not to mention the way they treat their customers."
