"Horrible customer support. If your item is out of stock, you will not be notified and your order will be processed, barring you from cancelling your order. Dont even try mailing them with questions or support, because I would say the chances of someone reading it are non-existant. This company does lure you in with moderatley cheap shipping, but dont count on it getting to you quickly."

I went back to the website and used their cancel order form... 3 times. I cancelled 3 times because once I hit 'enter' no confirmation number was given. I called the next morning and guess what.. I would be curious to see the customer service for someone who has had a problem and had to make an RMA or some other service request. They seemed lacking in that department. Also, shipping fee was way overpriced."

My only concern is that shipping and handling seemd a liitle high at $8.00 for a very small, light package. This is an irritation, but in such a competetitive market it could make the difference between a sale or not.
Maybe Compu-Plus could look at cheaper shippers (usps) not every body needs fast, tracked shipping.

"Worst customer service EVER! I will never purchase anything from this website again. No response to multiple emails. Excruciatingly long hold times when you try to call for assistance because nobody is responding to your emails. Also, they have no 800 number for customer service, so you are forced to make a long distance call to get the issue resolved. I ordered three items that were in stock, and when a week passed without my order being shipped, that's when I started trying to contact them. It took several days before I was even able to speak to anyone, and when I did, she said that she needed to "investigate" what was going on with my order and would call me back. I never got that call, and was forced to call them again (at my expense) to see what was up. I was on hold for over a half hour before I spoke with anyone, and she had no explanation for me either. This is still an ongoing issue. She promised it would be shipped today... we'll see..."
"Very good prices, decent customer service (when you talk to them), but otherwise incompetent.
I orderd a 250GB WD hard drive from them that was dead on arrival. When I contacted them about exchanging it, they said I'd have to get an exchange through the manufacturer. This made me quite upset, as this is a product that was DOA, not a product that died after I took possession.
The customer service rep I talked to was very nice, she talked to their RMA department, and they allowed me to return my dead drive for an exchange.
After shipping it back to them (which I paid for), I received an email from their RMA department saying that my card was refunded for the purchase amount minus S/H and a 10% restocking fee. Once again, this upset me, and I emailed the customer service rep I dealt with before and reminded her that I wanted an exchange.
So a new drive is on the way. I logged into the online banking site for my credit card, and I see that they charged me an additional $5. I'm not sure what it is, prolly S/H again.
Moral of the story: stay away from Compuplus.com. Their prices are good, but god help you if the product is DOA."
"I needed an item right away for the president of my company, so I called the store to make sure it was really in stock. They said it was, and so I ordered it from them, even though it wasn't the best price. They said they would ship it right away, and that I should receive it within a week. I got an email confirmation, saying the same thing. A WEEK LATER, I got an email message stating that their inventory numbers were wrong, and that it was backordered. Now I have to start over, and I lost a week's leadtime. Don't order from these people if you want reliability or accuracy!"

"I purchased this item on a Tuesday and I received it on Friday. Not bad delivery but when I opened the item, I realized that I didn't order the Color Version. I then checked the website and the acutal item went down almost $65. I called them on Monday and they said I could send it back for an exchange for the new color version. When I called them 3 days later, they said they refunded me for the item, but it was at the new LOWER price ($214.95). They would not refund me the orginal price of $279 as it's their policy of refunds are at the lower price. I never heard of such a scam before. THESE PEOPLE ARE RIP OFF'S. NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM."
